Fast X Movie Review
With the exception of shared universes, the Fast and Furious franchise is one of the longest running blockbuster properties. Since Fast Five in 2011, it raced along with each release getting more bloated and ridiculous than the last, entering a decline after the seventh title. With Fast X, the end of this long and tiring road is in sight, but you shouldn’t expect anything above par from the latest entry.

The Mother Review: The New Jennifer Lopez Movie Struggles to Escape Cliches
In her new movie, “The Mother,” Jennifer Lopez plays an ex-war hero who comes out of hiding to protect her daughter. Unfortunately, the movie may leave viewers wondering whether it was written by ChatGPT. The film's plot feels derivative, and it relies heavily on tired movie tropes that have been used countless times before. Despite Lopez's efforts to stretch her range, the overall movie falls short of expectations.

Fast X (2023) movie review
The twisty narrative of Fast X was another element that had me on the edge of my seat. The film's ability to lead us down one path and then pull the rug out from under us is part of its charm, and this was more evident than ever in Fast X. The number of plot twists made it impossible to predict where the storyline was going, which only added to the suspense and excitement.

Can Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 rescue the MCU?
Over the next year and a half, the biggest release to come out of either Marvel or DC will undoubtedly be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, set for release less than three weeks from now. This is due to a number of factors; the culmination of a trilogy following the most-beloved group of superheroes outside of the original Avengers, a chance to see where James Gunn leaves the Marvel universe before jumping across to DC, and the introduction of at least two new key players to the MCU, which sorely lacks star-power following the departure of Iron Man, the original Captain America, Black Panther, and Black Widow.

Fool's Paradise
Charlie Day stars in a self written and directed film that captures the comedy and physicality of old silent film stars like Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin. In a story that beautifully captures Hollywood commentary in a fun and lighthearted way. The film picks a style and tone long dead and reawakens it. Fool’s Paradise is a fun and entertaining film that makes Charlie Day shine.
