Challengers
Well I have been slacking on my movies so I am just now getting to Challengers. I love Zendaya with my whole heart so I really can’t wait to see her front and center. In press for this movie Zendaya says that you really have to watch the movie 3 times and focus on a different character each time, I’m not sure if we are actually going to do that but I will make sure that each character gets their due. So here we go with Challengers.

The Beekeeper
Today we watched The Beekeeper and honestly when I first saw the trailer for this movie I knew it was going to be just another stupid action movie. But we had to go for it anyway. Jason Statham is the action movie front man. Now we know that action is not normally my genre, I find the films to be very shallow with no real plot. And there have been only 2 films that combated that idea. The Beekeeper is not one of them. That said, as the bar is so low for action movies, did this movie at least deliver a good time? Well, let's get into it.

Irish Wish
The comeback of Lindsay Lohan was a hot internet topic on the internet for a while. She came out with a Christmas movie last year and then she was in another Netflix project that was released earlier this year, Irish Wish. As with many child stars spending so long in the spotlight led to a decline of mental health and she was really struggling for a while. Well as someone who thrived on Lindsay Lohan movies when I was younger I was someone who was super excited to see her be healthy and happy again. So I was excited to finally sit down and watch Irish Wish.

'Uglies' Movie Review
Netflix's latest foray into the realm of YA dystopia, Uglies, directed by McG, is a visually sleek but thematically shallow adaptation of Scott Westerfeld’s popular 2005 novel. Despite strong performances from its young cast, including Joey King as protagonist Tally Youngblood, the film struggles to find relevance in a world where conversations around beauty and social conformity have already evolved well beyond the film’s core message.

Movies of the 80s: 'I Go Pogo'
Hey, party people! Have you ever stumbled upon I Go Pogo? We're diving back to a wacky 1980 gem where Pogo Possum and his critter squad turn the political scene on its furry head. It's based on Walt Kelly's comic strip, which was sharper than a porcupine's backside at a balloon party, blending political jabbery with swampy shenanigans in the Okeyfenokey Swamp.
