These Underappreciated Harry Potter Characters are Finally Getting Some Love
I think we're kind of universally programmed by now to root for underdogs. But sometimes we take it a step further. Or at least that's how my brain reacts, in both a storyline and meta sense. If a character is underrated and ignored, either in-universe or by fandom and obviously deserves better, that's pretty much my signal to aggressively adore them - usually exponentially more than popular fandom favorites.

You Won't Believe It's Not Ink - This Is Real Life! Makeup Artist Transforms Himself Into Living Comic Book Art!
I'm always looking for awesome fan-created art and today I've found something amazing for you. Say hello to Makeup artist, body painter and model Argenis Pinal. His specialty, which you're gonna love... is cosplay. He puts his gift to work transforming himself into our favorite superheroes. But this is not your usual cosplay. While cosplay is always good, and every single one I've seen has brought something different to the table, Argenis Pinal goes above and beyond – because his style is 2D comic book pop art. It hits harder than a punch from the Man of Steel.

Justin Currie Creates Amazing Fan Art of Our Favorite Characters
Today's round of amazing fanart is thanks to incredible digital artist Justin Currie and his alternate versions of well-known characters. I was blown away by the attention to detail, and how he manages keep the look, feel, and spirit of the original designs while giving each piece his own definite interpretation and flair.

Awesome Artist Feature - PinkHavok
It's not that often that I'm completely blown away by fanart. Not to say that there aren't dedicated, talented fans out there, quite the opposite! I've seen so MUCH awesomeness that my taste has become refined. I am a connoisseur, sampling art like fine wine - just with less spitting on the ground afterwards.

Epic Pokemon Fusion Art
If you haven't been on the interwebs for a while, you might have missed the "Pokemon Fusion Generator" and resulting trend of posting your randomized (or intentionally spawned) creatures. It's usually a fun way to pass a few minutes (I just got a Nidogong, a mix between a Nidoran and Dewgong!) and see what early pokemon pixel sprites look like when mixed together - but some fanartists have taken it to an entirely new level, using the fused pokemon as art prompts for some glorious creations.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but these hyper-realistic drawings by amazing artist Arturo Quijada might just make words fail. Originally from Albacete, Spain, Quijada's motto is "Life is a Portrait," and it's definitely served him well.

Awesome Pokémon Go Team Leader Fan Art Is Already Pouring In
A wise man told me earlier this morning that the sun never sets on the Poké-Empire and I believed him wholeheartedly. Pokémon Go has proven itself to be a great first step towards augment reality games and has also been the source of some odd events here and there. Despite a few slight mishaps, the hype train for Pokémon Go is still going strong. The proof is in the fact that the team leaders of Pokémon Go were only just revealed to the world during Niantic's panel at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend and the internet is already awash with amazing fan art.
