This one's my favorite, can't even lie

If you haven't been on the interwebs for a while, you might have missed the "Pokemon Fusion Generator" and resulting trend of posting your randomized (or intentionally spawned) creatures. It's usually a fun way to pass a few minutes (I just got a Nidogong, a mix between a Nidoran and Dewgong!) and see what early pokemon pixel sprites look like when mixed together - but some fanartists have taken it to an entirely new level, using the fused pokemon as art prompts for some glorious creations.

Artist Kendall Hale (also on deviantART) has done an amazing job turning these pixelated hybrids into some truly beautiful (and sometimes terrifying) works of art. Check them out below! And if you like them, be sure to show the artist some love.
