Wow! What an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, good move getting Tom out. It was the right call, anyway, then the game gets hectic. It's usually after the first vote or the first vote, here it is. Now, Noura wants to blindside Jack & Jamal, using Dean & Karishma. Of course, Dean sees her as crazy and tells Jamal, who confirms her insanity. So now Dean knows there's a crack in the tribe and the game is going to be turned on its head. Meanwhile at Vokai, it's four to four, though Elaine is the only one who thinks it'll go to rocks. The other three original Lairo though, they are more than willing to flip; Aaron even spoke with Jason about taking out Elaine, which Jason is all for, wanting Vokai to have their numbers, even after Dan dressed him with his buff. At the reward challenge, Elaine had to sit out first off, so she was sent to the Island of the Idols. Secondly, it was a quick race, carrying one member on a crate of bags, then moving bags off, then the member on the crate uses the remaining bags to shoot targets. Aaron won for Vokai in a quick and simple win, winning them chickens.

At the Island of the Idols, Rob and Sandra were building one of the biggest, best shelters in Survivor history. And apparently Sandra snores according to Rob, lol. As for it's visitor, Elaine spoke about how people tend to judge her for her height, but she's got a strong heart. I like her a lot this season, she's been a quick favorite for me since Day One. She's so great to watch and I hope she goes far. Anyway, while with her Boston cap on, she met Boston Rob & Sandra, who wanted to teach her about taking quick chances without thought. So, she immediately agreed before Boston Rob could even tell her the test, so, Sandra loves her and Boston Rob does too but he's concerned that it could hurt her sometimes too. Anyway, she then was given the task to grab an advantage from the upcoming immunity challenge in plain sight. So, she went for it.

But before that, let's talk about the events that occured at Lairo. So, Jamal was showing Kellee how to do an African dance he learned being a TA for an African Dance class. And Jack said "Why don't you use your doorag to lift the pot"? He meant buff, but... obviously, there's an issue and Jack figured it out quickly that what he said was racially insensitive. Black men are assumed to have doorags, tattoos, etc. So to call Jamal's buff a doorag, yeah, that's really bad. But, he quickly apologized to Jamal, who said he'll give it time but he overall forgives him. He even taught him about the levels of social class and how white, straight men are at the very top, not realizing their privilege or understanding those under them. But Jack showed a willingness to learn. That takes a lot of courage to admit when you're wrong and want to do better. Good on you, Jack.

Before the immunity challenge, Elaine told Elizabeth about the advantage, who then agreed to cover her so she can get it. At the challenge, she did just that. Lauren happily sat out, the tribes carried cages, Elaine got the advantage, dropped it, picked it up and put it in her shorts again. Then, Vokai seemed to have a big lead, until they couldn't get the last ball in a basket. Ultimately, Lairo won sending Vokai to Tribal Council.

Beforehand, Vokai killed one of the chickens to have a dinner before going to Tribal Council. The plan did seem to be Elaine to go home. But then she told Elizabeth then Aaron & Missy about the advantage and their plans to throw Elaine under the bus and vote her out turned into "Elaine is our hero, let's take Vokai out!" Except for Aaron, who wanted to get in with the original Vokai, proving his loyalty by taking Elaine out. So, he has the opportunity to change the game and take out a Vokai, yet he chooses to be their fifth wheel who they just use for a vote? Seems like a good strategic move... NOT! But, it's up to Aaron, it's a risk but it's ultimately up to him. Make a big move and vote with old Lairo or just stick to the plan and vote Elaine out, despite her boost of confidence.

At Tribal Council, well, it was a lot of talk about the 4-4 split, Lairo possibly flipping, yet not buying Vokai's pitches to flip to their side. But mostly a willingness to go to rocks and as Elaine said, if a person from your side goes "Suck it up, buttercup", since you're still there. Boston Rob & Sandra watching and laughing, enjoying Elaine's masterful gameplay. But then, Elaine mentioned that she doesn't like rocks and she pulled out her "Block A Vote" advantage, blocking Jason's vote. Then, all the craziness went down. The original Vokai burst into tears, Lairo got excited and the Vokai who thought Elizabeth, Missy & Aaron were still with them told them to stick with voting Elaine. Then the vote actually happened and....Aaron chose the right side, Elaine is still in and Jason was blindsided in an epic way! Wow! HOLY SHIT! This was awesome! Overall, this has been an amazing episode of Survivor tonight and I can't wait to see what happens next week when the remaining original Vokai on the new Vokai lie, cheat, and steal, while Noura continues to try and get Jamal out!
