The preview for Monday's episode of The Young and the Restless reveals that a few Genoa City residents are in for the shock of their lives. Amanda opens her door to see an unfamiliar face who turns out to be a member of her family and Adam reels Sharon into his plot to expose Chelsea as the person who framed him. In addition, Rey and Nick must accept the fact that the bad boy Newman indeed has a heart. Opinions will be altered as the truth comes to light and narratives will shift. Lives will be changed and relationships altered forever.

Shaddam's secrets and lies

On Friday Adam texted Sharon and asked her to meet him because she is the only person he can trust. On Monday she agrees to see her ex and he lays something big at her feet. He tells her that Chelsea is the one who poisoned Rey and set him up but Sharon sees some red flags. She points out that it will be hard to prove that the woman in the wheelchair is capable of what Adam is suggesting. Shaddam fans are excited to see these two back in each other's orbit. If Sharon agrees to help Adam trap Conner's mother this will be the end of her relationship with Rey.

Sharon will have to lie to her husband as well as Faith's father in order to comply with Adam's plan. She will no doubt be drawn in closer to him through this ordeal and her feelings will be challenged. Her marriage vows, as well as her loyalty to Nick, will be tested and because she is assisting Adam, neither man will forgive her for keeping secrets. They may have a little more compassion on the prodigal Newman now that a startling revelation about his actions were brought to light. The question is if it will be enough to override Sharon's betrayal.

The Faith Factor

On Friday, Nick and Rey saw footage that revealed that Adam is the Good Samaritan who saved Faith's life. They reasoned together that in the midst of running out of town with the police on his trail, Adam made a good decision. He risked being arrested for poisoning Rey in order to get Faith to the hospital in time. Now Nick and Rey might have to rethink their views on Victor's youngest son. They may even come to the conclusion that perhaps things are not as they seem with Adam.

Faith is Nick's biological daughter and Rey thinks a lot of her as well. They were grateful to the unknown individual who saved her life. Now that they know it is Adam this will shift their mode of thinking. Nick initially tried to suggest that his brother caused the wreck but Rey insisted that the evidence reveals that Faith alone is responsible for driving the truck into the tree. When Rey reveals this information to Sharon, viewers will be curious about her response. Will she tell the truth or protect the man who saved her child's life?

Amanda's dilemma

When Amanda first reached out to her biological mother she was shut down. Later her half-sister got a restraining order against her. Now she is investigating the death of her father which had been ruled an accident. It is looking like Victor Newman or someone in his organization may have caused the vehicle to crash which would make the death a murder. Viewers realize that murder is not Victor's MO but they are glad to see that he will be involved in this storyline.

On Monday, Amanda will receive a visit from her grandfather which is going to leave her rattled. This comes in the midst of the dysfunction with Devon, Elena, and Nate. This plot is beginning to thicken and there is no telling where all the bodies are buried. Be sure to tune in Monday to The Young and the Restless to find out what happens next with Amanda, Rey, Nick, Sharon, and Adam.
