RRR is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language period action film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris in lead roles, with Ray Stevenson, Allison Doody, and Samuthirakani in supporting roles. The film is produced by D. V. V. Danayya under the banner DVV Entertainments.

The story of RRR is set in the pre-independence era, in the 1920s, and revolves around the lives of two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by N. T. Rama Rao Jr.). Both of them fought against the British Empire for the liberation of their respective regions - Raju in Andhra Pradesh and Bheem in Telangana.

The film starts with the introduction of both the characters in a grand manner. We see Raju as a young and daring freedom fighter who is well-known for his bravery and fighting skills. On the other hand, Bheem is introduced as a tribal leader who is equally courageous and determined to fight for the rights of his people.

The two characters are brought together by a common cause - their fight against the British. However, their ideologies clash, and they initially have a heated confrontation. Later, they realize that they share a common goal, and decide to join forces to fight the British Empire.

The film also introduces the character of Sita (played by Alia Bhatt), a social reformer who works with Raju to help the people affected by the British rule. She also becomes Raju's love interest.

One of the highlights of the film is the action sequences, which are expertly choreographed and executed. The fight scenes between the two lead characters are particularly impressive, with both Ram Charan and N. T. Rama Rao Jr. delivering outstanding performances. The climax of the film is an action-packed battle sequence that is sure to leave the audience on the edge of their seats.

Another aspect of the film that stands out is the production design. The film is set in the 1920s, and the art department has done a fantastic job of recreating the era. The sets, costumes, and props are all meticulously designed to create an immersive experience for the audience.

The music of the film, composed by M. M. Keeravani, is also noteworthy. The songs are well-written and well-choreographed, and the background score complements the action on screen.

Overall, RRR is an epic period film that combines action, drama, and romance in equal measure. The film has a strong social message about the fight against colonialism and the importance of freedom. The performances of the lead actors, the production design, and the music all come together to create a cinematic experience that is not to be missed.

RRR has been a major success at the box office. According to reports, the film collected a gross worldwide box office collection of around Rs. 800 crore within its first six days of release.

On its opening day, RRR reportedly grossed around Rs. 131 crore worldwide, which included around Rs. 95 crore from the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The film continued to do well in the following days, with reports suggesting that it crossed the Rs. 200 crore mark within just three days of release.

RRR also performed well in the overseas market, with the film reportedly grossing around Rs. 60 crore in the United States alone within its first week of release.

Overall, RRR is expected to be one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time, and has certainly been a major commercial success for the filmmakers and the cast
