Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially stripped of all Royal titles as they announce a second pregnancy

It's official. One year after stepping back from Royal duties, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have divested themselves from all things pertaining to the House of Windsor. This comes just as the couple announced they are expecting a second child. Meghan suffered a miscarriage not long ago and the couple is said to be happy she is pregnant again so soon. The Queen, however, is said to be very disturbed that her grandson is walking away from all official Royal duties, but still loves Harry and his family.

There is no choice at this point except for Queen Elizabeth II to strip Harry and Meghan of all of their titles and give them to working members of the Royal Family. There is no point in holding on to the titles when they are not carrying out the duties that go along with them. Thus far, on social media, the majority who have been responding to the breaking news have been quite negative. Quite a few of those who are reading the news have said that Harry and Meghan deserve to be stripped of everything because they walked out on the Royal family.

The Sussexes are considered by some to be traitors. There are actually people who say Meghan should have sucked it up and dealt with the harsh attitudes of those who were against her and remained within the confines of all things Royal. Meghan was judged harshly from the beginning because she was not blue blood, was biracial, American, divorced, and an actress. It has even been reported that Prince Phillip told his grandson that you "date" actresses but do not marry them. For many, the translation of this was that it's OK to have sex with them but they are not worthy to become a wife of a member of the Royal Family who have spoken out are saying they are glad about the decision.

A number of people worldwide continue to believe that Ms. Markle somehow spirited Prince Harry away from his legacy and these individuals will always blame her for everything. The truth is that Prince Harry is an adult with his own mind, and he was always somewhat different from the rest of the Royals. Harry enjoyed spending time in Africa and it was said jokingly by many that he would probably marry a black woman and indeed he did.

Unlike his older brother William, Harry was never slated for the throne. Now that the heir apparent has 3 children, this pushes the younger prince further down the line of succession. The Duke of Sussex or should I saw former Duke did not have the same responsibility as his elder sibling to choose the right wife who would one day be Queen. Harry simply fell in love as most people do. The issues that surrounded Meghan obviously did not matter to him and neither should they matter to others.

Prince Harry is his own man and he is doing all he can to protect his family because of what happened to his mother. Princess Diana was hounded by the press until the moment she died. There is also the issue of little Archie. If Harry and Meghan had remained working Royals, they were in an environment where not only would race be an issue for Meghan but their son as well. There already was a reporter in England who referred to the child as a monkey. No one would desire their son or daughter to grow up in a place where this would be the norm. Archie would always be "the black' one even if he continues to have his dad's coloring.

Although Archie looks just like his father, the fact remains that his mother is half African American. Until now all modern Royals have married and had children within their own ethnicity. At some point. someone within the Royal household was going to point out to Archie that he has "black blood" because this is the way of the world. He might have been playing with his cousins one day and perhaps Charlotte or one of her brothers might tease their cousin about his ethnicity. The same thing could happen in America but at least in this country its not the same big deal as it is where it pertains to the Royal family.

Harry, Meghan, and Archie can simply be themselves for the most part and live life as they choose. In England, they w0uld be in a fishbowl of constant stares and negative comments from those not used to anyone of color being a part of the House of Windsor. There is also the issue of Harry being an outcast of sorts from the time he was born. There were rumors that his red hair was because his biological father was a man named Major Hames Hewitt. Princess Diana's brother, the Earl of Spencer defended his nephew saying that Harry got his coloring from him.

Kudos for Harry and Meghan for making the choice they believe is right for their family. Prince William is bound by duty to be the successor to the throne, but no one knows if this is the life he would have chosen. Who knows, Prince William might even be a bit jealous of his little brother for having the ability to make a choice in the life his family will live.
