Days of Our Lives has a new villain

Days of Our Lives has given fans a new place to focus attention now that Peter Reckell and Kristian Alphonso have wrapped up their Bo and Hope storyline. After it was revealed that Bo did not murder Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) she was picked up by a fishing boat and ended up chopping up raw fish. She held a knife on the man who rescued her and demanded to know who his boss is and now has now found herself face-to-face with the owner of the ship who is familiar to her.

His name is Dimitri Von (Peter Porte) and Days fans will recall that in Days of Our Lives Beyond Salem Kate's daughter Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna) was working with an ISA agent by the name of Kyle Graham who was portrayed by Porte. Kate mentioned to Dimitri that she had known him by another name and when he began flirting with her Kate brought up how he had hurt her daughter.

Does this suggest that Rinna might return to the soap and reconnect with Graham/Von Leuschner or will Kate fall for him and cheat on Roman Brqady (Josh Taylor)? Long-time Days of Our Lives fans will recall Carly Manning ( Christel Chappell) who was married to Bo and later Lawrence Allamain (Michael Sabatino). Her birth name was actually Princess Katarina Von Leuschner so Dimitri is probably a relative and the storyline will more than likely eventually reveal the connection. He told Kate that her being picked up from the Island was no coincidence and that all would be revealed in time.

Getting to Know Peter Porte

Porte knew from childhood that he wanted to be an actor and his first role was as Christopher Columbus in the third grade. He continued acting throughout high school but began his career by modeling in Paris and Milan. Soap fans might also recall that Porte once portrayed Ricky Williams the son of Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) on The Young and the Restless.

Porte starred in the indie thriller The Good Nanny and the made-for-television movie A Cinderella Christmas for ION Television,[5] while recurring on the comedy web series Living with Models, and starring in the world premiere of Eve Ensler's play O.P.C. at the American Repertory Theatre. Porte starred as a surfer in the 2017 Hallmark movie, Love at the Shore. He also starred in the 2018 film, Love, Once and Always and 2019 film Rome in Love for Hallmark.

Peter Porte was born on March 31, 1984, and grew up in Greenwood Lake, New York. He earned a BFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and then went on to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He was in the sitcom Baby Daddy portraying Brad Walker, who is married to Bonnie Wheeler and he also played Josh on the Netflix comedy series Uncoupled. On October 7, 2018, the actor married Jacob Villere in a ceremony that took place in New Orleans.
