TikTok has started showing the naked photos on TikTok after its creators say they are bringing in a new feature. In order to hide nudity from the video clips, users can select the nude filter, meaning their photos will show up in the background of the shot, with a little black dot in front. The app has also recently added the Nude Lens which enhances nude videos to make them appear more realistic.

By comparison, Instagram also has a video filter with nude content. However, it only applies to clips that are just 30 seconds or less and has the complete opposite effect of TikTok. The images are usually saved as "vids" or "stories" and appear in the carousel of other popular videos, meaning users can just pick one with the filter to upload.

The TikTok app is known for having nudity in its videos. Some accounts from around the internet have amassed huge followings for doing both comedy and lip syncing, but TikTok is the first to fully bring nude content into its app. Many uploads have already been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, with some more than 1 million views, according to some users who have uploaded TikTok videos, which has led to TikTok's servers facing heavy load. The app often struggles to work when it comes to the "reload" feature in the future, the Daily Mail reports.

TikTok launched as a joint venture with music giant China's Tencent Holdings in 2017. The app is popular in countries like China and India, with it being available on both iOS and Android devices. In the U.S., TikTok is only available for Android devices.

All the videos on TikTok are user generated and are usually from various videos that users have uploaded in the past. The video platform also allows users to share what they do on a daily basis. TikTok has had a "Buzz" feature for the past year that shows users what they are most likely to be trending among others in their network. It also allows users to share highlights from their day on their story.

TikTok says it has more than 100 million daily users as it turns one and it claims to have more users than Netflix.

The app's description says that these are suggestions, but it also admits that it is giving users an option to make the suggestion.

Aside from the nudity filter, TikTok has had some other issues recently. Some users have complained about the app's technical problems. A recent example is the bug that had the app showing an error message. The company says the issue has now been resolved.

Customization is a huge trend in the app, which is a big reason why TikTok has been so popular over the past few years.
