A Cassadine/Jerome collaboration may be in the works.

On General Hospital, Nikolas Cassadine and Ava Jerome have a complicated history. The two tortured souls were bonding, until Valentin arrived on the scene. When the bastard son of Stavros pointed the gun at Ava, Prince Nick stepped in front of her. He was shot and fell out the window and his body was never found. After Valentin took over, the family fortune, Spencer enlisted Ava’s assistance but she let him down. The young prince wanted Ms. Jerome to testify in court that his great uncle killed his father. and she agreed. She changed her mind however after Valentin promised to pay for plastic surgery to repair her face that had been burned.

During the summer two psychics told Ava that Nikolas was not dead and she began thinking about what might have been. On Halloween, the prince showed up to the Metro Court gala in a mask and Ava believed he was the person who had been shadowing her for weeks. Later, Spencer’s dad revealed himself to Ava at her art gallery and she fainted. No one believed her so she checked into Shadybrook because she thought she was seeing ghosts. Nicholas bribed his way into her room and “haunted” her by saying her daughter Kiki was in hell with him. He told Ava she could redeem herself by demanding she reveal the location of Helena’s portrait which held a codicil to the will Stavros left behind.

Ava told the “ghost” the portrait was in her gallery then he left. When Nina came to visit she found the Cassadine ring that Nikolas left behind and assured Ava the prince was alive and well. The two women decided to work together to bring down both Nikolas and Valentin. Ava held an auction and Nina stopped Jax from bidding. Just as as Laura bid $450.000.00 the portrait burst into flames. At the end of Tuesday’sepisode Ava was drinking in her gallery and said out loud, “I knew you would show up.” She turned to find Nikolas and pointed a gun at him.

Spoiler alerts from Soap Opera Spy indicate that in the next episode, Nik and Ava will discuss everything. He will explain what happened after he was shot, where he has been and who cared for him. The spoiler indicates that Ava will put the gun down so the two will probably hatch a ploy against Valentin.

Ava will tell Nikolas that she had the codicil nut will not give it to him. They will kill doubt play a lot of cat and mouse but will eventually come to an agreement. They will unite to vanquish Helena’s stepson for the sake of Spencer. It’s more than likely that they will end up in each other’s arms along the way. In the meantime there will be a lot of fallout from this situation.

Valentin will be shocked that his nephew is alive and absolutely devestated that Nina has been out to get him all along. Laura and Lulu will have mixed emotions and viewers will find out I’d Spencer knew all along. Sonny will be spitting nails when he finds out that Carly knew and was keeping the secret from Jax. General Hospital is gearing up for some exciting scenes as we head towards the end of the year. Spoilers also tease that Charlotte may not even be Valentin’s biological child.

In the midst of all the chaos, there may be romance blooming between the dark prince and the town parriah. Stay tuned weekday afternoons on ABC at 2:00 PM EST. Port Charles will be filled with fireworks and you don’t want to miss one episode. Will Prince Nikolas and Ava fall in love, and will Valentin lose everything he holds dear? There is only one way to find out.
