Killer Bean Forever is a movie that was suggested to me by a friend of mine. She's been going on about it forever and I always kind of brushed it off without thinking too much about it. I finally decided to take the dive not knowing what I was getting myself into because it's a free YouTube movie to watch.

The movie starts out with a bunch of beans breakdancing in a warehouse. It's such an odd sight to see because they're computer animated beans all dressed up in clothing and dancing in a warehouse. The whole concept is wacky and crazy but somehow I kind of love it. This dancing goes on for quite a while with even choreographed danced routines.

All of a sudden there's a call on the phone and the DJ picks up the phone. It's a mysterious caller that we know is Killer Bean and he's telling them to turn down the music because he's trying to sleep. The DJ is a huge jerk so he turns up the music trying to be all tough because they all strapped with guns. They're not afraid of this guy at all. Killer Bean gives them their last warning but they don't heed the warning.

Next thing you know Killer Bean crashes into the place and starts killing everyone one by one. He's basically murdering all the beans in the warehouse in spectacular fashion. It's straight up from all of the action movies that you've seen in the past and it's pretty amazing.

The last person that he comes after is the nephew of the mob boss that they all work for and he warns Killer Bean that he doesn't know who he's messing around with. Killer Bean doesn't give a crap and coldly blows away his brains with his gigantic gun.

At this point I'm all in. I had no idea such a low budget animated movie would be so entertaining on YouTube. I totally understand why my friend watched this movie 8 times already.

So the cops get to the location and believe they have a vigilante on the loose. They've been after this mob for a while and this guy just destroyed their goons in one visit. The cops are now interested in finding Killer Bean along with the mob bosses that these breakdancing thugs worked for.

We then get a glimpse into Killer Bean's life and we discover that he's a hired gun. He gets his boss angry because of the fact he killed all those breakdancing goons. They weren't part of his objective. He's out to get someone but there's more to this movie than meets the eye. Well that's kind of a lie it's actually quite simple but it has a few twists later on.

I have to commend Jeff Lew for making this movie back in 2009. The animation sequence for some of the action sequences are quite riveting for the era. You can tell he's really into action movies and studies them because there's so many homages with the names of the characters and the scenes that he recreates in this movie. There were a few camera tricks that I recognize from some older movies that I thought were really well done.

The story isn't quite the best but you're not looking for the best story when it comes to action movies like this. It's nice and simple to follow. What we're really watching this movie is for the action and there's tons of it in this movie.

I don't know how one person was able to make these fantastic action sequences. Some of the scenes really rival a lot of action movies I've seen in the past. The way that he is able to make the bean bodies crumple like dummies makes the impact of some of the hits so powerful. It's hard to make it CGI's fight like this and make us feel the impact like Jeff Lew has done in this movie.

The characters are very simple looking but they do the trick. Some of them are pretty funny looking seeing as they have these humongous torsos and small limbs. The Mr. Potato Head faces are both scary and hilarious at the same time. It kind of grows on you after a while.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised that one man could make an animated movie such as this. It is quite impressive and entertaining at the same time. I was in it from start to finish. I have to give this movie a 7 out of 10. It is definitely worth a watch if you have time. This is especially great for people that love action films.
