My Movie Trailer Edits - Part 1
Ron Weasley as Heathcliffe? Star Lord as Han Solo?

It's been a while since I started making movie trailer edits, so I thought "why not start sharing them more than ever?".
My trailer edits literally consist of trailer audio covered with footage completely comprised from another movie. It's as simple as that. Some make sense to blend together, whilst others are just nuts and crazy ideas merged into one. I guess either direction is what makes it fun in the end.
I usually keep them to YouTube and just let them be seen if they're seen, but let's just see what you guys think. And what better way than to highlight a few of my personal favourites?
Wuthering Heights Trailer (Harry Potter Style)
The trailer for this year's Wuthering Heights took the world by storm and introduced us to a new take on the classic love story of Heathcliff and Cathy.
Most bookworms will know that the story centres on a love between two characters that was brewing for years and years. I just couldn't help but be reminded of two kids from the Wizarding World.
Take away the deep sexual tension, and it just took me back to watching Ron and Hermione throughout the Harry Potter movies. to a degree at least.
So, I did a thing. I did an all out edit of the Wuthering Heights using footage from the Harry Potter movies. You can watch it below:
Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer (Star Lord Style)
This one might make a bit more sense. Solo: A Star Wars Story may not have been the most popular Star Wars movie (although my spoiler review from back in the day would disagree), but how does it look with Chris Pratt's mug all over the place.
Star Lord does feel like the MCU's take on Han Solo, so it felt right to put him front and centre in the Han Solo movie trailer. Hey, I even got to have Rocket Raccoon as Chewbacca which was pretty fun to do! IN FACT, did you know Chris Pratt took inspiration from Harrison Ford's Han Solo for Star Lord? So I guess this checks out pretty well, right?
So yeah, it's going back a few years, but I threw some Guardians of the Galaxy footage together with the backdrop of the first Solo trailer, and you can watch it below:
The Batman TrailerS (Burton's Batman Style)
We may still be waiting on Matt Reeves' The Batman Part II to come out, but it doesn't mean we can't keep appreciating the first movie in some ways, right?
I'm a big Batman fan. Always have been. More so of the Burton movies. So when I knew Catwoman and Penguin were going to in the Matt Reeves movie, I had to have some fun with the trailers for The Batman. So, I did two trailer edits for the two main trailers released for the movie, both comprised of footage from Batman '89 and Batman Returns. A lot easier to blend than Wuthering Heights and Harry Potter, am I right?
So, you know what? To hell with it. Below is a double feature if you feel like watching them. Come on, spare 5 minutes of your time.
HEADS UP (if you care), maybe I'll take a whack at Joel Schumacher's movie footage for when Part II's trailer FINALLY comes out.

Overall, it's all just a bit of fun, but let me know your thoughts on the comments! And please PLEASE share with your pals if you enjoyed it. Or hated it. Either way. Either way is fine.
I'm also open to any ideas. Any trailer edits you think would be fun to see, let me know and it gives me something fun to do.
