1. Ferris Buller's Day Off - Netflix

Starting this off with a bang. Ferris Bullers Day Off. The top dog when it comes to fun filled teenage mischef and excitment. From phony phone calls to exploring the city of Chicago, this movie has you hooked from the get go. Ferris Buller (Matthew Brodrick) breaks the fourth wall as you follow him and his friend Cameron, and girlfriend Sloane through their adventure whilst the Dean of the school Mr Rooney tries his best to catch Ferris out on his lie of another sick day from school. The witty banter and irreplacable friendships that take place through this film make this a must watch. Emotional and Feel good.

2. 10 Things I Hate About You - Disney Plus

Cameron, Patrick, Kat & Bianca

If you love a high school teen drama and have never stumbled upon this movie. Look no further. From the unbelieavbly talented cast to the fun filled, angsty story line. With the new arrival Cameron (Joesph Gordon-Levitt) to the school he instantly falls for the popular Bianca Startford, his dreams of dating her being crushed when he finds out her dad only allows her to date when her anti-social sister Kat Startford (Julia Stiles) does. Enter Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger) the high schools bad boy who Cameron and his friend Michael hire to date Kat by using the high school asshole Joey Donners money. Fun filled, emotional and beautiful.

3. Heathers - Prime

Heather x3 & Veronica

Veronica (Winona Ryder) brings angst to a different approach to a teen drama movie. This one is said to acquired taste, but I definetly recommend. Veronica is friends with the popular group - the three Heathers. However, it's clear from the get go she doesn't really fit in or agree with their mean and cruel behaviour. Insert the mysterious J.D (Christian Slater) who Veronica starts to date, taking a dark turn Veronica realises J.D is purposefully killing students at the school. A shocking and fresh way of twisting a high school drama. A dark and shocking teen movie with just a hint of comedy.

4. Pretty Woman - Now TV

Vivian (Julia Roberts) & Edward (Richard Gere)

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in this movie set high standards for romance and iconic cinema works. Vivian, a prostitute is hired by Edward, a rich business man who needs someone on his arm for social events. The movie taking a romantic turn when we see both of them slowly begin to fall for one another. From the intense love story to the gentlemanly nature this movie tugs on your heart strings, drawing you in from the get go. If romance, drama and a happy ending is what you are looking for. This one is for you. The hopeless romantic in me will always hold this movie close to my heart.

5. Some Kind of Wonderful - Netflix

When the outcast Keith Nelson with the help from his best friend Watts (Mary Stuart Masterston) tries to land a date with the popular girl Amanda Jones (Lea Thompson) who hes been harbouring a crush for. The movie centres around our popular girl's ex-boyfriend doing anything to get his own back on Keith whilst Keiths best friend Watts comes to the realisation shes been in love with her best friend. Cliche, but a must watch. Full of emotion with a feel good plot. If you like The Breakfast Club and St Elmos Fire this one fits perfectly for you. A classic in my eyes.
