A rare find

Nancy Lee Grahn who portrays Alexis Davis on GENERAL HOSPITAL is catching a lot of flack because of how outspoken she is on certain subjects. She recently shared some interesting images on her Twitter feed that Royal watchers and GH fans might find interesting. The actress revealed that Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle once worked on the ABC soap.

When she first began dating her future husband it was revealed that Meghan was on the series SUITS and that her father Thomas Markle had been a lighting director on GH. Now it turns out that the Duchess of Sussex herself portrayed a nurse in an uncredited role and she had scenes with John J York who just celebrated 30 years of playing Mac Scorpio.

The Meghan haters are saying "so what" and that is their right to not care but others may find it interesting. For everyone who does not believe this is newsworthy there are many others who do so rather than express hate, if you are in disagreement please walk on by.

No date for the images has been given but John J York joined the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL in 1991. The soap often casts day players as nurses aides, and orderlies. Who knew that one of them would end up being a princess or rather former Royal? Perhaps there are fans of the soap who can recall this interaction with detective Scorpio and this nurse.

Mac could have been inquiring about a patient or asking questions about a case. It's possible that a patient in GENERAL HOSPITAL was a suspect or the victim in a case he was working on. Whatever was going on during that brief encounter looked like it was pretty intense. Meghan's resume prior to suits was pretty impressive but not enough to where she was a household name as an actress. Read on for details related to her career in the entertainment business.

Meghan's past roles

Markle was in a Tori Amos video for 1000 Oceans in 1997. From 2004-2009 Meghan starred with Viola Davis in CENTURY CITY. In 2005 she had a brief role sitting next to Ashton Kutcher in A LOT LIKE LOVE. She was also in the FOX series THE WAR AT HOME which ran from 2005-2007. Markle's first television role was in 2006 in DECEIT.

She later made one appearance on CSI-NY. In 2007 she was on 4 episodes of DEAL OR NO DEAL as the case holder. She made a brief appearance on 90210 early in her career and in 2009 was in THE LEAGUE and later CSI Miami. Meghan's last film role was in 2015 in ANTISOCIAL and she was in SUITS from 2011-2018.

Meghan and Harry remain in LA

As an actress, Meghan has come under fire for several roles where she was practically nude, and one where she simulated oral sex. The late Prince Phillip even told his grandson that you "date" actresses but do not marry them. Ms. Markle has been called a gold digger and endured racist comments since marrying her prince so it seems she cannot catch a break.

People wondered what complexion her child was going to be and even said little Harry might look like a monkey. He is adorable and looks just like his father in complexion and red hair. At this writing, Harry and Meghan seem happy in their new life and have a second child a daughter Lilibet. They also seem very much in love and happy to remain in LA and that decision should be respected. If Prince Harry does not mind that she is a biracial, divorced, non-blue blood American actress why should anyone else care?
