Mac and Felicia should be on hand for Maxie on 'General Hospital'

General Hospital viewers are beginning to ask questions on social media as the nuptials of Peter August and Maxie Jones are drawing near. There is a lot of speculation as to whether or not the wedding will take place and the possibility that someone will be hurt or killed. Another issue that fans are concerned about is Maxie's missing parents. This is not referring to her biological dad Frisco Jones who cut out a long time ago. Everyone is wondering what role, if any, that Mac and Felicia, the couple who raised her will play during the wedding.

Mac Scorpio has been getting a lot more air time on General Hospital to the delight of his fans. He is now the head of the detectives but very rarely interacts with family members such as his brother Robert and as well as Maxie. It almost seems as if they ar living in an alternate universe although they are all in Port Charles. Viewers are mainly concerned, however, regarding the absence of Mac's wife Felicia. There has been no mention of Maxie's mom in quite a while and she is needed now more than ever.

Maxie is about to give birth to Peter August's child and the two are slated to have a double wedding with Anna and Dr. Finn. Mac should be giving away the bride who is his stepdaughter and who considers him to be her real father. Felicia should also be there as Maxie's mom. In all of her planning, Maxie has said nothing about her parents and been more concerned that Dante and others make nice with Peter. Viewers have been noticing that not only is Kristina Wagoner not on the show at all, but John J York's character does not talk about his wife.

Last week Maxie made a pact with Nina and Britt that the 3 of them would stick together no matter what. Viewers know that time is running out for Peter and he will soon be exposed as a killer. There is nothing wrong with girl power but Mac Scorpio raised Maxie as his own daughter and Felicia needs to be in the picture at such a critical time. Spoilers have suggested that Maxie might get shot and lose her baby, Peter could be taken to jail, or be shot and killed. Any of these scenarios will be devastating and Maxie will need all the support she can get.

During the discussions about the double wedding, neither Anna nor Maxie has even mentioned Felicia. If Kristina Wagoner does not desire to return to General Hospital, they can always get a recast as has happened in the past. Wagoner was briefly replaced by actress Sandra Ferguson and fans did not seem to mind. However they do it, the character of Felicia is needed right now because she and Mac are legac characters and fan favorites. For longtime fans, it seems odd for Mac to always be working and never talking about his wife.

Viewers also find it strange that in all of her recent drama, Maxie is never in the same scenes as the man who raised her. It would be disrespectful to the legacy of the characters if someone is shot at the wedding and Mac only showed up to investigate. For this reason, he will probably be on hand. There is never any mention of Mac and Felicia spending any time with Georgie or James who are their grandchildren and viewers have taken notice. About a month back Mac made a passing comment about his wife and some General Hospital fans believed it could indicate that Felicia might be making a return.

There has not been any sign of Felicia and no indication that there are problems in the Scorpio marriage. mac just goes along as if he is a single man but fans are taking notice. The day slated for the wedding ceremonies is coming up soon and viewers will find out whether or not Maxie's parents will be in attendance. Obrecht is free and planning revenge, Peter is a loose cannon, Franco is having Drew's memories and Valentin is hiding secrets from Anna who is keeping things from her fiance Finn.
