(500) Days of Summer

They are diverse films about love, from the breakup of a love so great that the protagonist wants to get it out of his mind, to a love for someone ethereal, or the first love of college that seems unattainable, passing to a trilogy of films that starts from youth to adulthood.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

A highly original script, a touching story, emotional moments that are devastating, an unconventional situation, and a mismatched couple that has something that makes you want them to move on no matter what happens to them. Sometimes we feel so hurt, confused or angry that we wish we could erase the person who makes us feel that way from our memories, but this wonderful film shows what would happen if that were actually possible. What happens when we hold on to the memory of someone and how powerful can our feelings for that person be?

(500) Days of Summer

With a simple story that is easy to identify with and a soundtrack that perfectly complements each scene in which we see how Tom and Summer's relationship evolves, this film shows us what happens when a guy meets a girl and she... well, she doesn't really do anything and is always sincere, but he goes from absolute happiness to a great sadness in a seesaw of emotions that perfectly reflects how a relationship can live with its respective breakup, which is sometimes quite difficult to overcome. A common situation for many is portrayed with humor, dialogues full of honesty and, above all, with a lot of heart. In the end, this film is very entertaining and leaves you with a good lesson, besides being recommended to better understand how relationships are in these times.

Her

This film can only be defined as beautiful, it focuses on the sentimental relationship that is born between an antisocial subject and an operating system that has the ability to evolve to act as much like a real person as possible. At the height of the rise of social networks and smart devices, just when personal relationships weren't so much anymore, Spike Jonze came up with the idea of bringing to film a touching story about how we fall in love in the age of Facebook and Twitter. It is fair to say that this is one of the best films made in recent years and that its script is one of the most original ever written.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

A 15-year-old teenager arrives at a new school and while trying to fit in, or at least get on with his life as best he can, he meets a senior student with who he begins a beautiful friendship and with whom he inevitably falls in love, despite having practically everything against him to be able to have something with her. This film reminds us how it feels to be in high school, to have to face different projects and to be in love with a girl who simply seems unattainable.

Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight

These three great films work to tell a single story about the love of two people and the evolution of their relationship over the years. In the first film, a French student who goes to visit her grandmother meets a young American man who has just been dumped by his girlfriend; the two characters meet on a train bound for Budapest and then spend a night together until dawn. The second film takes place nine years after the first and shows the reunion of the same characters, who, despite the changes in their lives, are still in love. The closing shows what has happened to its protagonists 18 years after their first meeting; the couple got married, had children and moved on with a life that became everyday.
