Linden Ashby and Cameron Kristen- All you need to know

A blast from Genoa City past

Linden Ashby was just revealed to be back in Genoa City as Cameron Kristen the man who is stalking Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) on The Young and the Restless. A preview shows Kristen talking to Sharon's daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Castner) in Chancellor Park so things might be about to take a dangerous turn where he targets the teen.

For those unaware of the history, Sharon met Cameron after she fled Genoa City over 20 years ago because of her feelings for her father-in-law Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She met Kristen who began abusing her and when she returned to Genoa City he followed her. During an altercation. Sharon defended herself by hitting him over the head with a champagne bottle. She thought he was dead and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott helped her dispose of the body. He later was revealed to be alive and went to prison for his crimes and now he is out and seeking revenge.

Why is Cameron back and after Sharon?

The Young and the Restless really pulled a rabbit out of a hat on this one because it took a minute before spoilers and viewers figured out the significance of the bottle of champagne that was delivered to Sharon and the mention of "memories in the accompanying note. Why has this person returned and what is he expecting where Sharon and her family are concerned?

Spoiler alerts have not given any details but this storyline will probably not end well for Cameron who might end up back in jail or really dead this time. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) are on Sharon's side and will fight for her. If Kristen does attempt to target Faith he will have the Newmans swarming against him from all sides.

Fans of The Young and the Restless are excited to see Sharon in a storyline that takes her away from Crimson Lights and have dubbed her the Coffee House Therapist. For many months now all Mrs. Rosales does in poor coffee, wipe tables, and or dispense counseling from behind the counter. She has listened to everyone's woes including Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

All about Linden Ashby

Ashby was born Clarence Linden Garnett Ashby III o in Atlantic Beach, Florida on May 23, 1960, in Atlantic Beach Florida to Garnett Ashby Jr. and Eleanor Ashby. He attended Fort Lewis College in Durango Colorado, but during his junior year, he dropped out to pursue his career in the entertainment industry and studied acting at Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. He has been married since 1986 to Susan Walters who portrays Diane Jenkins on Y&R.

Soon after, he was cast as Lance Reventlow, in the miniseries Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story. His first television role was in 1985, on the ABC soap opera Loving, as Curtis AldenIn addition to Y&R, he is also known for portraying Brett Cooper on the final two seasons of Melrose Place from 1997–1999, playing Sheriff Noah Stilinski on the MTV supernatural drama Teen Wolf from 2011–2017, and portraying Johnny Cage in the 1995 film Mortal Kombat.

Ashby's martial arts background assisted him in the role of Johnny Cage in the 1995 film Mortal Kombat, and he returned to voice Cage in the Mortal Kombat 11 video game. In late 1997 Ashby starred in the short-lived ABC drama Spy Game. he also portrayed Morgan Erp in Wyatt Erp in 1994 and Chase in Resident Evil Extinction in 2007.
