'Arrow': Why Is Earth 2's Laurel Lance In Star City — And What's Coming Next?
This post contains spoilers for Arrow Season 5. The final scene in the mid-season finale of #Arrow wowed a lot of fans. As most of us have been watching for five years, it takes a lot to throw us off our game, but the writers and producers of Arrow managed to do just that when #LaurelLance turned around to greet Oliver in the Arrowcave. I know, in my house, you could have heard a pin drop.
Rachel CarringtonPublished 7 years ago in GeeksWho Do I Vote For? - 10 Comic Book Characters We Wish Could Become President
With another Presidential Debate on the books it looks like here in the United States many people are laughing at the ludicrous situation we find ourselves in in terms of choices in the upcoming presidential election. Everyone has an opinion and it seems that we are expected to choose between what many consider the two most unpopular candidates we've ever had on both sides of the political party system.

Laura Jaramillo DuquePublished 7 years ago in GeeksReview: 'Beauty And The Beast' Brings New Magic To A Tale As Old As Time
One of the films that I was most excited to see this year was, of course, Beauty and the Beast. I had always been a fan of the original, knowing all the lyrics and able to quote the entire film when I was still very young. When I heard that this film was being added to the list of live-action remakes, I was both excited and scared to see what #Disney had in store for us.
Tisha EatonPublished 7 years ago in Geeks'Arrow': Why John Diggle Will Be Ready To Fight Again When Season 5 Returns
This post contains spoilers for Arrow Season 5. When the mid-season finale of #Arrow ended on December 7th, John Diggle had become one of Prometheus's victims. On the run from the military and the federal government, #Diggle was hiding out in the Arrowcave since Oliver and Lyla risked their own lives to rescue him from a federal prison in Episode 5. And while the rescue strengthened the bond between Diggle and Oliver, it didn't give Diggle the freedom to return to his old life.

Fans of the original 'Ghostbusters' will rejoice at seeing all surviving cast members come together in this hilarious interview on the 'Jimmy Kimmel Show'. What really makes this truly spectacular is Bill Murray's decision to have the original baddie 'Mr Stay Puft' straddle across the cast's collective laps.
Matt LoftusPublished 7 years ago in Geeks4 Fun Things We Learned At The 'Beauty And The Beast' Press Junket
This past weekend I was lucky enough to be flown out by Movie Pilot to attend a Beauty and the Beast screening as well as the press junket the next day. I'm happy to report that there is a lot more to the film than just being a shot-by-shot remake of the animated version, and an in-depth story that connected Belle and the Beast in a way that was so much more personal than we could have imagined.
Tisha EatonPublished 7 years ago in GeeksPlanes, Trains, And Automobiles: 'The Fate Of The Furious' Writer Defends The Physics Of His Films
Let's be honest, the Fast and the Furious films aren't going to be winning any awards for their math skills, while it could even be argued that Universal should really start staying behind for physics class. However, when #JamesBond isn't too bothered about the physics of whether a helicopter can really fly upside down, and as the Fast and The Furious films move into an espionage-led era, should we really care either?
Tom ChapmanPublished 7 years ago in GeeksWill Ben McKenzie Become Batman on Gotham? SDCC Interview Suggests So
San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) dropped some massive reveals on fans everywhere. One reveal being highly overlooked by many is a statement made by Ben McKenzie (The OC, Gotham) indicating he'd be portraying a different character from DC Comics in the upcoming season of Gotham. At (SDCC), TVLine sat down with the cast of Gotham and got the big scoop from McKenzie himself. Ben Mckenzie currently portrays Commissioner Jim Gordon on Gotham, but he may not be so for too much longer. Knowing that Jim Gordon's character will transition into another DC character could mean a variety of things. For all we know, McKenzie's words could only mean that his character of Jim Gordon will simply masquerade as a particular character for some specific purpose. Or in the more entertaining scenario, Jim Gordon (McKenzie) could wind up taking on either a villainous or heroic persona of an existing DC Comics character.
The DCEU Character Guide Part 1: The Heroes
4 years ago we were first given a glimpse into the redefining moment of Superman in Man of Steel (for good or bad is still up for debate). Regardless, we were brought into a new understanding of the Superman legacy and we started to imagine how his story could be expanded upon. That imagination is coming to fruition in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, as we are being given the continuation of the story we started in Man of Steel. But more-so we are being introduced to the Justice League in a grandiose fashion and kicking off the entire DC Extended Universe. Then shortly afterwards, we will be given the villainous side of the newly established DCEU, as we see the highly anticipated Suicide Squad hit theaters in August.
Matthew BaileyPublished 7 years ago in Geeks'The Little Mermaid' Is Given A New Voice In This Brand New Live-Action Trailer (And Not By Disney)
While we all know Disney has been prepping for a live-action Little Mermaid movie, it's still a few years away. Meanwhile, Conglomerate Media and Kingsway Productions have beaten them to the punch and surprised audiences by dropping a trailer for their own live-action version of the classic fairy tale, which will be premiering later this year.
Tisha EatonPublished 7 years ago in GeeksBlack And Gold: Dwayne Johnson Promises 'Black Adam' Will 'Rock' More Than 'Shazam!'
Coming back fighting, the current plans of the #DC Extended Universe show that the #comicbook powerhouse is not letting their recent run of controversial film reviews get them down. While the likes of Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad divided critics, the bright tones of Wonder Woman and Justice League tease a colorful horizon for the grey studio.
