Nightwing? Red Hood? Who's Next For DC TV?
DC has done incredibly well in recent years with their characters jumping into television series. We've seen Arrow fire the first shot and show off what’s possible for a DC hero to attain on television, we’ve witnessed the speed in which The Flash has gained a freaky fan following and we’ve also seen the power of Supergirl as she made her debut on television. Everyone is talking about what Marvel has done with comic book characters on Netflix, and rightfully so. Marvel has created a connected universe of characters, and it looks to be incredibly promising over the next few years, yet by no means is DC playing second fiddle to Marvel.

You have a problem. You have some wonderful flowers or succulent plants (or some other greenery, we don't judge you here at Moviepilot), but your pots are drab, and not nearly cute enough. Or nostalgic. I ask you, if you aren’t laid low by a wave of nostalgia when you look at your houseplants, what’s the point?
RoAnna SylverPublished 6 years ago in GeeksFour Formidable Females Who Would Rule Their Own Television Spinoffs
Now that television producers are scouring older series for reboots and films for prequels, there is an opening for spinoffs that could be successful given the right opportunity. With shows like The Originals which spun off from The Vampire Diaries, and all of the Star Trek series and films which spun off from the original Star Trek series, television and movies have proven that spinoffs can be successful in the right hands.
Rachel CarringtonPublished 6 years ago in GeeksHappy Birthday, Dean Cain: A Favorite '90s Superman Turns 51
Dean Cain was only 27 when he graced our screens as Clark Kent/Superman in the popular TV series, Lois and Clark: The Adventures in Superman. The show ran for four seasons (1993–1997), giving viewers plenty of time to fall in love. His portrayal of Clark Kent as the kind, charming small town boy with a heart of gold was elemental in drawing over 15 million viewers on average each week. To some, Dean Cain was, and will always remain, the best Superman.

The new play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ends Harry Potter's adventures, according to author J.K. Rowling. "This is the next generation, you know," the author said in a recent interview. "I'm thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now."

Marvel is quite honestly killing it when it comes to producing top notch television shows as part of their Marvel Cinematic Universe. We've already seen the back story building efforts of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.', we've witnessed the history of Marvel's Universe through Agent Carter, we've also watch the creation of a blind vigilante in Daredevil as well as the tenacity of a super powered private investigator in Jessica Jones. If you haven't checked it out already, here's the trailer:

We do also have new additions of many X-Men that will have a lasting existence within the X-Men universe. X-Men: Apocalypse will be introducing the well known characters of Scott Summers/Cyclops, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Storm, Angel, Psylocke, and Jubilee, who may specifically have roles in X-Men: Apocalypse for them to have a solid lead-in as an established team in the next chapter of the X-Men franchise. Apart from the 'X-Men' making their first appearances in "X-Men: Apocalypse", we also have the inclusion of Apocalypse/En Sabah Nur's Four Horsemen' being introduced in the film.
Whose Side Is Chris Evans Personally on for 'Captain America: Civil War'?
During Salt Lake City Comic Con my brother and I were able to get tickets to the largest event of the show, Chris Evans's Q&A Panel. While we had a long wait, it was worth it when we were able to get to the front of the line and ask him the first two questions. While he explained the difference between filming Johnny and Captain America, my brother queued up to ask one of the most important questions a fan could:
Tisha EatonPublished 6 years ago in GeeksCasting The Captain Of 'Star Trek's' USS Discovery: Could One Of These Women Be Chosen?
We're all looking forward to the launch of the USS Discovery in 2017. At this point, casting information is slim; however, there is strong speculation that the captain could be an African-American woman. iDigitaltimes started the speculation because, in an interview with Moviefone, Bryan Fuller talked about Star Trek being a show of firsts:
Rachel CarringtonPublished 6 years ago in GeeksRUMOR: Idris Elba To Star In This Steven King Epic!
Okay, okay here's the deal: Stephen King's The Dark Tower novel series is far and away my favorite collection of books, by about a million miles. Forgive me Dana, but even The Lord of the Rings doesn't compare in my mind, and that's why it's so exciting to find out that my favorite fictional characters are finally that much closer to having their story shared on film. The Dark Tower series is a set of 8 books published over the span of 30 years and totaling over 4,250 pages. These books can also be linked to several of King's other works through characters and settings. Ultimately, The Dark Tower Octology (if that's a word) truly is King's magnum opus; his crowning literary jewel.
Matthew BaileyPublished 6 years ago in GeeksHighlights from Sebastian Stan's Panel at Salt Lake City Comic Con
This weekend Salt Lake City Comic Con has been fortunate enough to garner many guests from the Captain America movies, one of which was Sebastian Stan. Luckily, I was able to get a front row seat to his panel, and he had plenty to say to his fans.
