First Mother's Day without Harrison Wagoner

On June 6 of last year Harrison Wagoner, the son of General Hospital actors Jack Wagoner and Kristina Wagoner was found unresponsive in an LOA parking lot and later was confirmed to be deceased. Jack and Kristina portrayed 1980s super couple Frisco and Felicia Jones and later married in real-time. Jack is no longer on GH but fans still love both of them and some hoped they might reunite. Although the couple is no longer married they remain friends and have helped each other during the grieving of their son. They even set up a foundation in Harrison's name to help other young men dealing with addiction.

The Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund with the New Life House Recovery Community. The organization provides structured sober living and a community of support for young men who are struggling with addiction and substance abuse. Jack and Kristina even starred together in When Calls the Heart.

Kristina Wagoner is an inspiration

This will be Kristina's first Mother's Day without Harrison and the actress is doing her best to remain positive. She recently found some pictures of her son Harrison and said the timing of the discovery leads her to believe the images were sent to her from "somewhere" and they are an early Mother's Day present. Comments from her Instagram followers suggested the photos were a "God wink" and that Harrison is always with her. She also shared fond memories of her son's birthday in December.

Today is Harrison’s birthdate,” “I had the privilege to know him for 27 incredible years. Harrison was larger than life, but beneath his commanding presence was vulnerability and compassion. He understood his own defects and worked hard to turn them around, to strengthen his positive attributes. He was a good listener and stood up for others when they couldn’t speak for themselves. He is missed. Happy Birthday, Harrison."

Wagoner is an inspiration and after taking time off from General Hospital after her son died she returned and fans have enjoyed her being more prominent in Port Charles. For quite a while Mac and Felicia were only shown every now and then and fans were troubled. Last summer when Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) announced that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) was returning he said the upcoming storyline would involve all veteran cast and Wagoner's fans were hopeful.

GH fans are happy to see more of Wagoner on screen

Since being given more screen time Felicia was there for Mac Scorpio (John J York) as he adjusted to the disappointment of finding out Cody Bell ( Josh Kelly) was not his son. The couple have no idea at this point that he really is but this will eventually come to light. Felicia was instrumental in helping Holly fake being burned in a cabin fire so she could trick Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) into believing she was out of the picture. Felicia helped Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) "haunt" Deputy Major Eileen Ashby ( Heather Mazur ) which led to her deciding to work with them and Mrs. Scorpio assisted in her own way when Victor was finally taken down.

Kristina Wagoner's followers hope she remains front and center on the ABC soap and at some point it will come out that Cody is Mack's biological son and she will be front and center. The actress is also mourning the loss of her good friend and General Hospital cast member Jackie Zeman who portrayed Bobbie Jones. The news earlier in the week that Zeman passed away after a brief battle with cancer stunned fans as well as the cast and crew of GH. Happy Mother's Day to the beloved actress and may she remain strong through all that comes her way.
