Hunter King Returns to 'The Young and the Restless'

Fans of The Young and the Restless are divided when it comes to whether Kyle Abbott should stay with his wife Lola or reunite with his former lover Summer Newman. For the past two weeks, Summer has been in Atlanta and last week received two frantic phone calls. Theo wants his sweetie to come back to Genoa City so he can discuss finding out that he is related to the Abbott family. Kyle asked his first wife to keep her boyfriend in check. Spoiler alerts from Soap Hub reveal that Ms. Newman is schedule to return to Genoa City on Wednesday but CBS programming will be preempted because of the impeachment hearings. For this reason viewers might not see Hunter King's character until Thursday.

When she gets back in town there will be a lot she will have to catch up on. Her father is running for public office, and her mother and uncle Adam helped to solve a hostage crisis at the Grand Hotel. Billy and Kyle have been going back and forth between working well together at Jabot, to feuding with each other. Summer is definitely needed to put out a few fires in Genoa City and may find love in the process.

Kyle and Theo will be at odds over Summer and Lola

Summer and Lola both will be in the middle of the angst between Kyle and his new cousin. Lola is warming up to Mr. Vanderway and beginning to see a softer side. She has advised her husband to give Theo a chance and when Summer returns, she will more than likely do the same. Both women want peace between these two men, but that may be easier said than done. Celeb Dirty Laundry indicates that when Summer gets back to work at Jabot, Lola is going to catch her touching Kyle's face. This will be in regard to a new men's product, but it will set up "Skyle" getting closer to each other.

Summer is going to leave as soon as Lola shows up, and Kyle will attempt to make his wife understand, but the new Mrs. Abbott is not blind and she may begin to feel the chemistry growing between her husband and his first wife. This will bring a lot of tension with the newlyweds and "Kola" fans are not going to enjoy such a storyline. The Young and the Restless initially had Lola as the sweet and innocent one, while Summer was the schemer. Slowly they seem to be making Kyle's current wife a nag and Summer a more mature young lady.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals that Theo and Summer are going to make love in order to celebrate her return but their celebration will be short lived. Ashley is headed back to Genoa City to meet her new nephew and will offer him a position in Paris. It's not known whether or not Mr. Vanderway will accept his aunt's generous offer but one thing is certain. If he moves to Europe, he will be leaving Summer behind.

Various spoiler alerts suggest that she and Kyle will grow closer and it's a sure bet that at some point they might get back together. There were rumors that Theo and Lola might fall for each other but she will probably not uproot and move to Paris either, should things get that far with the two of them. It will be exciting for Kola and Skyle fans each rooting for their favorite couple. Sadly, not many of those who watch The Young and the Restless want Theo to stick around.
