House of Lies 2024 Review: Enough with the Everyday Mysteries

I don't know why Bollywood people are so obsessed with Hollywood. A story almost like Knives Out has been shown, and I don't know how many times pictures have already been made on the same theme. But till now, the makers are not tired and are trying to explore the same theme again and again.

House of Lies 2024 Review

I have a request from the Vocal team. Please think a little about Indian content creators. We are very talented. Along with Stripe, please consider adding other payment withdrawal methods that would make it easier for us in India to transfer our payments directly to our Indian bank accounts.

I have been very worried for the last few days because there are many things, starting from the Wifi bill, due to which content creation is not possible. Without money, it will not be possible for me to contribute on this platform.

However, I will still do as much as I can until Stripe comes completely to India, which they claim will happen by the second half of 2025. This is very good news for us Indians.

So friends, a murder mystery thriller movie called "House of Lies" has arrived on ZEE5. How is this movie? Does it have any potential? Should you invest your time in it? Let's find out.

"House of Lies" is a murder mystery movie that tells the story of a wealthy man, Albert Pinto, who is dead, and all his family members are suspects. So, who committed the murder? To uncover the motives behind the crime, you will need to watch this movie, which is now available on ZEE5 with a runtime of one hour and 22 minutes.

House of Lies Review

I don't know why Bollywood people are so obsessed with Hollywood. A story almost like Knives Out has been shown, and I don't know how many times pictures have already been made on the same theme. But till now, the makers are not tired and are trying to explore the same theme again and again.

Now there should be a new flavor added to Murder mystery. After all, how long will we keep seeing the same ordinary things? A mansion where someone has died and all the suspicion is on his family - stop showing all this now.

Look, nothing is going to happen by blaming Bollywood because it has been their record that they never do anything of their own. They have always been copying content from different industries, and this will continue in the future also.

Apart from this, I did not find any special thrill in the movie. The intensity also did not seem special, and I did not enjoy it at all. Watching this picture felt like a waste of time.

Some supporting characters were acting so badly that you didn't even ask. It felt like they were reading their lines straight from the script, with no facial expressions or natural delivery. They simply recited the lines as written, without bringing any life to the characters.

Sanjay Kapoor is in the movie, who undoubtedly did a good job. But looking at the supporting cast, it seemed that maybe the makers did not have any other good actors available, so they hired non-actors.

Look, the climax of this picture is good, no doubt, but the courage you need to reach there will already be gone, I am damn sure.

The screenplay of a murder mystery movie should be such that you keep guessing until the end what will happen, and your excitement should be at its peak, like 'Uff, WOW, what an amazing ride,' etc. There are no such moments in this movie.

When the movie starts, Sanjay Suri narrates, "That scene was good; it somehow set the atmosphere that the picture would be stronger later on." But this could not be done at all, and the production value is even worse. My salute to whoever did the work of sound mixing is totally poor.

Conclusion

Yes, the suspense is good, but overall the presentation, buildup, and narration were not fun. In terms of parental guidance, nothing vulgar is seen in the movie, and yes, you can watch this movie absolutely free on ZEE5.

So, this was my review of the movie House of Lies released on ZEE5. I hope you enjoy my review ride. See you again after some time.
