Geek Girl Netflix Review

Guys, yesterday a very lighthearted, fun, and coming-of-age drama series was released on the Netflix platform called Geek Girl. I started watching this series with very low expectations, and trust me, this series surprised me.

This series has 10 episodes in total. Each episode is around 30-35 minutes long and is not very lengthy, so it can be completed quickly. I have watched this series in Hindi, and the Hindi dubbing has been done very well, as Netflix always does.

So the main focus of the show is Harriet, who is trying to bring a little change in her life. The reason is that whenever something good is about to happen to her, something always goes wrong, due to which she goes on such an adventure. I mean, she moves towards the fashion industry. Now, you will have to watch this series to know what changes come in her life after.

Geek Girl 2024 Series Review

Might be this series may not give you some top-notch, great, outstanding feeling as per the story, but trust me, the way the story has been executed is fun to watch. The plot is very simple, no mystery or action has been given to us, but the drama that is seen here, the way things have been presented for the young audience, is likable.

In case you have watched 'Emily in Paris' type series or any other young adult drama where you follow the journey of a girl who wants to change her life, and then suddenly she finds a purpose and see what she does after getting caught up in that motive, then this series is definitely for you. Don't miss it.

I would like to commend the outstanding performance of the actress Harriet. I noticed that she was also part of the 'House of the Dragon' series. The way Emily Carey has portrayed her role is beautiful, comedic, and amusing. You will enjoy watching the antics she performs.

Be it family drama, school drama, or the angle of Harriet's love story, it was a totally fun experience. This show does not disappoint even in production value; many good locations are seen.

Weak Points

In terms of weaknesses, a lot has been revealed about Harriet, such as her school drama, family drama, and personal drama. Some of these aspects may seem ordinary to you, indicating a seasoned audience that has watched many similar series. Viewers may encounter issues of predictability.

Now, removing the weak points, I will only tell you that even though the story and characters of this series are simple, the way the execution has been done here is completely fun to watch, and the story feels engaging.

The actors' performances will not let you feel bored for even a minute; their drama throughout the show will keep you engaged and entertained.

What else is needed?

Conclusion

So, if you like watching young adult dramas based on coming of age, then definitely you can give a try to the show "Geek Girl." It is a good series that will not let you get bored anywhere.

Let me also tell you that this is a limited series. This means that no further parts will be coming in the future. However, if this series becomes a hit, it is possible that it may be continued. Yes, you can watch this series with your family.

In addition to being fun to watch, it is family-friendly.
