Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

As a loyal Harry Potter fan, I can recite 1-7 episodes of novels by heart, and I remember almost every detail in them. It is very common in the film industry to turn one-dimensional novels into three-dimensional films. But it is not easy to restore novels such as Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, which are quite different from the real world.

I haven't read the original work of The Lord of the Rings, but I have watched the movie countless times. I have tried to watch the extended version of The Lord of the Rings 1-3 all night. From the perspective of film powder, The Lord of the Rings is first-class in casting, soundtrack, photography and background, especially in the grand war scenes, which always makes me feel excited and want to cry. Perhaps because I have never read a novel, I can read The Lord of the Rings with admiration. From The Lord of the Rings film, we can see the director's love for The Lord of the Rings. He painted the local conditions and customs in Middle-earth extremely beautifully, with rich and three-dimensional characters and natural emotional collision between characters. I always want to read the novel Lord of the Rings one time, and maybe I will have a new experience when I brush the movie.

Harry Potter is different. I first came into contact with Harry Potter's novels, and I was too familiar with the details, so I couldn't help but watch movies with critical eyes: Did they restore the beautiful magical world? Did they spoil J•K•Rowling's pains and love Harry Potter? With countless questions, I shuttled through Harry Porterie in 8 episodes. But I also know that it is unfair to compare Harry Potter with The Lord of the Rings.

My feelings for Harry Potter films are complicated, so it took me so many years to write this. I like the high degree of restoration of characters and scenes in movies, but the opposing play between characters is a little stiff, which can't express the delicate feelings between the lines in the book. This is also helpless. After all, the actors in Harry Potter are mainly children. Even if they can have some charm in the book, they are at the level of "exposed when they open their mouths". The performances of adult actors are relatively more natural. Moreover, the directors of Harry Potter films have changed several times, and each episode is not as unified in style as Lord of the Rings. After the fourth episode, when the content of the story became more and more complex, and the color of the picture became darker and darker, the degree of the director's drastic changes became more and more serious. The commercial film that "finished filming quickly and released quickly and collected money quickly" made me very sad. If you haven't read the novel, maybe the movie is still good. But watching the director change the plot indiscriminately, I always wonder how many people who have not read the novel can understand the film.

On July 15th, 2010, just in time for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part Two), I sat in the cinema and burst into tears. This is the ending of my favorite Harry Potter movie. From the first book Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban I read in 2000, to every expectation after that, to the surprise when I saw the first episode of the movie, and now in 2014, this is a fairy tale that grew up with me. Harry, Ron and Hermione have all grown up. Every casting in the movie fits the original works so well. It is they who visualize the characters without images in the monotonous words. It is they who make the characters and scenes in the novel come to life. But when they grow up, they will eventually leave the magical world, but I am not willing to graduate.

After Harry Potter, there is no Harry Potter.

This episode restores the lights. My favorite episode! I still can't forget the joy when I watched this movie. It was really a perfect restoration! They are Harry Potter in my mind. Every character and every scene make the vague image in my mind concrete, and I am not disillusioned. As a novel film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is perfect. Although the details of the plot have been cut down, the story is basically presented completely.

Let's talk about character casting, from Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, Hagrid, Dursleys, and Harry Potter trio, to all Hogwarts and Weasleys … every character's image is too much! Good! That's it! The first time I saw the lovely little Daniel, I kept feeling, "He is Harry Potter in my imagination!" He showed Harry Potter's bewilderment, freshness and curiosity when he first came into contact with magic. With glasses, birthday and other elements, I think he was born for the role of Harry Potter. He's born to be Harry Potter! So much so that watching him perform other works later will be disturbing. He was born for Harry Potter and entered the entertainment circle for Harry Potter. He has already paid so much, but the end of Harry Potter can't end his acting career. It can be seen that he has made great efforts to transform himself from Harry Potter, but how far can he go without Harry Potter? we'll wait and see. Compared with Ron and Hermione, Harry is more difficult to play than the other two, because he is the first person of the novel and has too many inner plays. Ron and Hermione have a wide range of plays, and their Yan Yi can be seen in the first episode. Although they are slightly artificial, it is inevitable for small actors. Especially when Emma Watson was so young, she vividly interpreted Hermione's little pride when she first met Ron and Harry. Emma Watson deserves to be my goddess! What surprises me most is that I like the Weasley twins all the time, with such tacit understanding, such mischievous tone and such "unruly indulgence of love and freedom". Sorry, I don't know how to describe my love for them!

As far as "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" is concerned, the content of the book is relatively small, while the space of the film is limited. As the first film in the series, "The Sorcerer's Stone" is more eager to show the world how responsible the production team is for the restoration of the novel Harry Potter. Little Harry lives in the cupboard room under the stairs, the dazzling array of diagon alley, the "hateful trolley" in Gringotts, the ceiling of Hogwarts school hall, and the delicious food on the table at Hogwarts (for example, on Halloween, the table is full of lovely apples and pumpkins). This film is a surprise to all loyal fans, and all the magic scenes only in books are so truly reflected on the screen. And I finally saw how Quidditch played and was happy ~

The director also lost no time to add some loving details. I believe this film director has love for Harry Potter!

For example, at the beginning, when Harry Potter chose his wand, the director changed the small details very well. In the book, Little Harry changed nervously just by waving the Ollivander, while the movie was more direct and protested that using the wrong wand would break things, although Ollivander's lines of breaking the specifications of each wand were deleted (I think it's a pity! ) but it's not bad.

For example, when Harry Potter practiced Quidditch with Wood for the first time, when he let go of Snitch, Potter could clearly see Snitch flying, but Wood could not see around, indicating that little Harry really had a talent to be a seeker.

For example, Professor Snape, in addition to the director's close-up of Harry's eyes every time the professor appeared, also joined the professor to encourage Harry before his first competition! Jesus Christ! Rowling definitely told the director, so she added such a plot! When Hermione saw that the professor was absorbed in chanting the mantra during the competition, if she paid attention, she could see that Professor Quirrell was also paying close attention to Harry.

For Harry's classmates, except for the trio, only Neville had some descriptions in this film. I don't know why the director suddenly added the attribute of love explosion to Seamus. As a result, the terrier used it from the first episode to the eighth episode.

Hagrid's period of raising dragons basically restored the description of the birth of Xiaolong, Hagrid's eyeful love and Malfoy's peep. Although many plots such as "sending Xiaolong away" were cut down, compared with novels, it felt that the progress of movies was more reasonable than that of the later forbidden forest adventure.

The restoration of the journey to find the Sorcerer's Stone is also very high, including the three-headed Lu Wei, but unfortunately Ron's classic spit "You are still not a witch" when facing the devil's net; It's strange why the key should attack people. And Hermione's classic reasoning is gone. But the restoration degree of the giant chessboard is super high. Ron's acting skills are very good when playing chess on the chessboard. The courageous and decisive sacrifice spirit and "people are brave but they are still afraid of pain" are all shown on their faces. Ron's classmates did a good job!

Finally, let's talk about some small regrets, for example, sorting hat didn't sing, Peeves didn't appear, little Hermione didn't care so much about the school rules, the fire in the jam jar, the Christmas party, and Harry Potter should be able to see a large family in the mirror, but only his parents have appeared all the time, and it is estimated that it is not easy to find a bunch of people (in fact, it is better to find Daniel's relatives to play? )。

One unreasonable thing is that Hedwig obviously lives in an owl hut, so why does he always appear in Harry Potter's dormitory?

The most regrettable thing is that Dumbledore's interpretation is different from my understanding. Dumbledore feels like an old urchin in books, but he is too serious in movies. The lines of "idiot, crying, residue, twisting" are gone. This is very obvious in the final conversation between Harry and Dumbledore. In the book, Dumbledore is very relaxed and happy, even joking in the last conversation, but he is very serious in the movie, even without a smile. And Harry Potter asked "the first question that can't be answered", which Harry Potter didn't ask at all in the movie!

Sorcerer's Stone, Sage's Stone and Sage's Stone can prolong people's lives. Their names and functions are exactly the same as those of the Sage's Stone in the alchemist of Steel, and the Sorcerer's Stone is also made by the alchemist. Thinking of this, I shudder at Nicolemay's 600-year life.
