‘Greenleaf’ the plot thickens as both home and church may be lost

Tuesday night on Greenleaf, a few things seem to have been settled, while new challenges presented themselves to the megachurch family. Viewers continue to try to figure it all out but it’s clear the web of deceit will become more tangled. AJ decided to live with Noah, kissed Grace goodbye and walked away. This puts to rest the notion that a few viewers had thst Nosh had come back to reunite with Grace. He will probably see to you t that AJ gets the treatment he needs for HIV and the two of them possibly may never be heard from again. It looks like there will be no closure regarding the young man that Grace saw, who later died but don’t bet the farm on it. This is one loose end the viewers really want to see cleared up, but they must wait and see how it turns out in the end.

Charity walked away from her AP position and wants to help her sister take down Bob Whitlmore. She gave the performance of her life as she told pastor Demars that he would never again have her voluptuous body and was stuck with Judee’s “ little tits”. Charity really seems done with Phil and later he appeared to feel the same way when he told Judee he agreed with her regarding Charity’s attitude. When, however, Judee attempted to perform an intimate act on her husband to be, she was rejected. Ms. Whitmore also let it slip that she was not divorced from her husband. So here she is planning to marry Phil and become a First Lady when she already has a spouse.

This lets viewers know how crooked Bo Whitmore really is by trying to marry his daughter off when she already has a husband. There is no way to tell at this point in what direction things are headed, but it won’t be good. Either Phil, Judee, and Bob will take over and run the church into the ground or be run out of town because of the revelations the Greenleaf women are finding out. Lady Mae tried to talk to Phil’s dad but that conversation went nowhere. The former First Lady is not one to give up so she may try again. Mae and her daughters might just save what’s left of the ministry.

Carissa is full of herself because Lady Mae agreed that Jsvob had no right to judge her for adultery, The Bishop’s wife demanded her son forgive his wife but he was not able to. The tension between Jacob and his spouse is so thick that there does not seem like a way they could ever reconcile. Carissa did agree not to pursue the issue about the wills but the damage has been done. She has stepped into a hornets nest that might backfire on her in a big way. Lady Mae has already instructed Jacob to not allow his wife to have custody of their son. Bishop went to talk to Baseie’s sister and cane away feeling that all was well. While he was talking with his family about having church in the home his cell phone rang.

When the conversation ended the Bishop seemed troubled. He informed his family that Basdie’d sister wanted to discuss the house. The Greenleaf Family is now in a situation where they could lose their home as well as their ministry. It’s never been made clear how this family became so prosperous but many viewers assume it is because they made money from the church. Not much has been shown regarding the fund raising practices of the ministry but with a mega sized congregation comes mega bucks. Viewers are now torn regarding whether or not the family will lose everything or recover all. There are probably only five or six episodes left until the season finale and each week the drama becomes more intense.

Lady Mae had wanted to attend the church service on Sunday but her husband is against it. Who knows what will happen as Charity has predicted things will quickly fall without a Greenleaf at the helm. If the family loses everything they will have to start over somewhere. Most vieeers cannot imagine Lsfy Mae without her servants and carrying herself like the lord of the manner. Charity and Grace May obtain an 12th hour reprieve for the church but what will that mean as things can never go back to the way they were. Now that Darius has no job, he might leave town and ask Grace to go with him. He was brought on board to be her love interest but the writers could change things. Grace might decide to join Noah and AJ and become a real family. The one thing about Greenleaf is that it is written in such a way that you do not know the direction the writers are taking the characters. N

If the family home is taken away, Sophia probably will not want to leave her loved ones so this would cause some issues. There is a remote chance that her father might come back to claim her, although not highly likely. Some viewers believe Mavis will show up with some type of bombshell that will rock her sister’s family prior to the final episode and there is still the issue of Jacob possibly being the father of Alexa’s child. It’s plausible that he may not be her baby daddy and she may have only been brought back for that one episode as a teaser. Hang in there viewers and keep an open mind. Hold tight to your seats because this ride is about to really take off.
