'General Hospital' teen love triangle will bring heartache

The teenagers on General Hospital are about to have some drama in their lives and not everyone is going to come out unscathed. The writers have taken a long time to pair any of them up with each other and no one seems to know who it is they truly love. Trina and Josslyn both kissed Dev who said he was not into them that way. he went on to tell Joss that he did not want to do anything to jeopardize his relationship with her family. Trina and Cameron kissed after their ordeal with the men Cyrus sent to kidnap them and they are not sure what it meant. They could simply have bonded over almost losing their lives, or perhaps there really are some feelings between them.

Spoilers from Soap Dirt and Soaps She Knows are suggesting that Joss will now realize that she cares for Cam but it may be too late. Cameron Weber kept his feelings for Ms. Jax to himself while she was involved with Oscar. Josslyn only saw him as a friend but now she might be looking at him differently. The spoilers suggest that by the time Joss determines to admit she cares for Cam, that he and Trina might be on the verge of becoming a couple. These four young people have been through a lot in the last year. First, there was Oscar's death, then Dev's arrival and secret identity.

Next Joss and Dev were homebound because of the thugs that Cyrus had sent after Sonny, Cameron, and Trinia were kidnapped then her father Taggert was killed. There was also Cam being kidnapped and saved by Franco who had his memory removed. Since the soaps are not addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, these teens should be planning for graduation, college, school dances, and the prom. Instead they are hanging out with each other and trying to figure out who is in love with whom. Some viewers thought Joss and Dev would get together and Cameron would date Trina. Others thought it would be visa versa. Now it's not clear but something needs to give.

General Hospital needs to bring Emma and Spencer back to add some intrigue to the mix, or introduce other teens. If indeed Cam and Trina get together it will not automatically mean that Joss and Dev will eventually fall in love. There is no telling in which direction this storyline is heading and there is also the fact of the COVId restrictions. Adults on the ABC daytime drama have hugged and held hands but no one has actually kissed since the new episodes began airing. It will be kind of boring to attempt a teen romance when they cannot even share a kiss. For this reason, GH might delay any romance with the young folk.

In the meantime, they will need each other because Trina will eventually find out hat her father is alive. She will need her friends to help her get through all the pain from the deception. Joss might be dealing with her parents hooking up again which will be troubling as she was just settling down in the home with Sonny and Dev. Mike Corbin's upcoming death will affect Josslyn and she will need a shoulder to cry on. Dev will also be affected as he has come to think of Mike as part of his family. At some point, the writers may revisit the truth about Dev's background in Turkey which would bring some revelations so there is much that will be going on.

Cameron has accepted Franco into his family but there is still the issue of his younger brother Aiden being bullied for possibly being gay. Once children are allowed back on the set, this storyline might bring some drama as well. Be on the lookout for spoilers, and updates to what is in store for the teens on General Hospital and keep watching on weekday afternoons to find out how all of this works out for them. Spoilers have indicated that some great storylines are coming this fall for the adults, so perhaps the teenagers will be featured as well.
