‘General Hospital’ Sasha might go off the deep end over Michael and Willow

Before General Hospital went on hiatus in March, Sasha Gilmore was dealing with angst over her decision to trick Michael Corinthos into thinking that she and Chase were having an affair. She and Willow's boyfriend thought they should sacrifice their relationships in the best interest of little Wiley. They believed that if Willow and Michael married, this would ensure that Nelle would not have access to the little boy. Sasha had come to Port Charles because Valentin rigged a DNA test to make it appear as though she were Nina’s daughter. She repented of that mistake only to become involved in another deception of her own making, Spoiler alerts suggest this scheme may come back to bite her in a bigger way than the previous scam.

Sasha and Chase faking an affair did not fool Doctor Finn nor Carly who both understood it was to push Michael and Willow together and save Wiley from Nelle. Now according to spoilers, this selfless act may have some unintentional negative consequences. There is a saying that no good deed goes unpunished and this one will probably be no different. Ms. Gilmore's actions may cost her the love of the man she had hoped would one day be her husband. Her dealing with Valentin made her a liability to Michael getting custody of his son and she desires to remedy the situation by pushing the marriage to Willow.

Soap Dirt teases that Sasha might spiral out of control and become addicted to drugs. Viewers may recall that some time back, she was not certain she could go through with a photo shoot and another model gave her something to take the edge off. Sasha used the drug again just prior to General Hospital's hiatus and it appeared that she had passed out. No matter how this situation works out, Nina’s fake daughter will be depressed, distressed and disappointed. Should Michael and Willow obtain custody of Wiley and later learn the truth, they will not be happy to know that Chase and Sasha manipulated them. If the former school teacher and Carly’s son fall in love, then Sasha’s heart will be broken.

Ms. Gilmore is in a no win situation and if she survives her recent ordeal, the drugs may ruin her life. It had just come out in court about Julian trying to kill Alexis and Nelle was shocked. The judge could go either way in this hearing giving full custody to Michael or granting joint custody for both parents. It’s highly unlikely that Nelle will get full custody, but Sasha will be crushed no matter what type of ruling the judge makes. Carly has been praising Sasha because of her decision to help Michael, but Ms. Gilmore is having doubts. This is leading her to make questionable decisions. Spoilers suggest that if she makes it out of her current situation she will probably use more drugs and become an addict.

At some point, either Chase or Carly might fill Michael in on what has been going on because he will eventually have to know. Sonny’s namesake will no doubt be livid that his girlfriend and best friend decided to play God with his life. Even if he gets custody of Wiley, he will not so quickly forgive. He will be angry with his mother as well for being a part of the deception. If Michael does not forgive Sasha and she can get her life back together, there really will be no point for her to remain in Port Charles. It's unlikely that she and Chase would really fall in love and viewers probably would not go for that anyway.

Last week it was announced that General Hospital will begin airing new episodes beginning Monday, August 3. Viewers already know that there have been many bumps in the road since the pandemic so be listing out for updates. Soap Dirt had said the last production delay was because two actresses had tested positive for COVID-19 but this was never confirmed. Fans can only do what they have been for the past five months and that is watch, wait and expect sudden changes.
