'General Hospital' rumor: Sonny gets amnesia

General Hospital spoilers from Soap Dirt have been accurate in their predictions and also have been way off base. This is why fans should take the information given with a grain of salt. Soap Dirt now indicates that a "leak' on the GH set is promising an interesting storyline for Sonny Corinthos. You can read the story by clicking on the link. Set insiders and leakers used to be on the money, but lately, have guaranteed several plots that did not manifest. I share this information so that fans will know what is being projected, but understand that it may or may not be true.

It is being reported that Sonny will have amnesia but this could mean several different things. Sonny could be hurt doing battle with Julian or Cyrus. He could sustain a bump on his head from a fall, or he could dream the entire thing. The Corinthos family is experiencing a lot of chaos right now and having Sonny out of commission would be disastrous. The family is grieving the deaths of Mike Corbin as well as Dev and dealing with the aftermath of the explosion at The Floating Rib. Sonny is desperate to keep his family safe but does not know what to do.

Some viewers still believe that Dev is not dead and that Sonny has placed him in hiding. This is because when the teen"died" there was no one else around except his cousin. The paramedics did not call the death and there was never a scene where the teen went to the hospital. Devlin Cervi-Corbin could really and truly be dead and gone but on soap operas many come back from the great beyond. Sonny has ordered Jason to find Julian and he is trying to figure out a way to get rid of Renault. If he really loses his memory this would put a halt on everything. Without more details from the "leaker" there is no way to understand what is going to happen. There is always the chance that this information is fake news because alleged set insiders have been wrong before. Just recently it was said that Dustin and Dante would have a common goal and spoilers said it would be to pull Lulu out of the rubble after the bomb went off and to try to save her life. The two men did have a common goal but it was not regarding her health. Dustin knew he was dying and asked Dante to look out for Lulu and give her the engagement ring. Both men wanted to make sure that Ms. Spencer/Falconeri would be OK.

Spoiler alerts saying Dante and Dustin had a common goal left much to interpretation and no one got it right. Stating that Sonny will have amnesia is pretty specific but viewers do not know in what context this will happen. It could be a dream or a daydream. Sonny could lose his memory temporarily or for a long time. Without him at the helm, Jason would have to take charge and it just would not be the same. Spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry come from a video that aired on ABC regarding the next episode. CDL says that it is Sasha Gilmore who will be having memory problems. She will wake up at GH and Epiphany will try to explain to her where she is and why.

It's possible that both Sonny and Sasha will have memory issues because you never know what is up with storylines. After Valentin and Anna almost died because of the bomb that Alex planted, many viewers did not believe the Floating Rib would explode so soon, but it did.
