Nelle and Julian have lost their minds

The General Hospital Nurses Ball continued on Thursday with more of what viewers enjoy. Valentin was gloating to Martin about acquiring ELQ and matching the donations dollar for dollar. His bubble was burst and his mood changed, however, when he saw Nina and Jax and realized how close they are becoming. Ned and Olivia continue to be on different pages regarding BLQ and the wedge between them is growing. They put their difference aside however to sing a duet on stage as they have in years past. While they were singing Brook Lynn was backstage heartbroken and crying because her father kicked her out of the family home.

Monica watched the Nurses Ball from her living room with no idea that Nelle is planning to steal Wiley, whom she is watching. Julian tried to talk some sense into his new wife but she only threatened to tell Sonny that her spouse knew for months that Wiley was Michael's son. This put him in the awkward position of doing her bidding and giving Ms. Benson more ammunition against him. Many fans believe the only way out is if Nelle dies, but that leaves Brad and Obrecht who may tell all once they are released from prison. This storyline continues to escalate and fans want it to be over. Each time it looks as if there may be some closure there is another twist.

Later Valentin sang as he played the piano and as Nina watched she cried. Viewers could see she still cares for her ex, so perhaps this is a sign they might reunite. Dustin and Lulu were at odds over BLQ as Nelle convinced Julian to kidnap Wiley for her. Brook Lynn overheard Nelle's side of the conversation just as Julian was right outside the Quartermaine home. Viewers have always wondered why such a rich family does not have a security system or camera's on the grounds. Julian put on a ski mask and easily entered a side door.

At the same time, Nikolas and Ava went on stage where he announced they were giving a million dollars to HIV research and also setting up a scholarship for nurses in the name of Liz Weber. Both Franco and Ava looked shocked at this latest development. Viewers had to get used to an empty ballroom and Lucy Coe wearing gowns that were not as glamorous as in years past. Port Charles residents were all on telephones taking calls because this year's ball is a telethon. Shout outs were given to front line workers as well as those dealing with HIV.

This year’s gala was definitely different but the surprises just kept on coming. Nina and Valentin had a moment where she told him she enjoyed his song. he expressed his sorry at hurting her and she replied that an apology can't undo the damage that was done between them. Nikolas enjoyed Franco being jealous of his honoring Liz and Franco pointed out that her name is now Baldwin, not Weber. Jax had to stop the two men before they came to blows, reminding them of what the evening is all about.

Liz later overheard Ava admit to Nina that if Nik cheats she gets 90% of the Cassadine fortune. Now she knows that she and her husband are pawns in a game between Ava and her prince. Meanwhile, Julian chloroformed Monica as Nelle slashed at Brooke Lynn with scissors. Is Brook Lynn dead, disfigured, or unconscious? Will Julian really kidnap Wiley for Nelle or stop the madness? Can Monica or Brook Lynn come around in time to save Wiley? Stay tuned GH fans for the conclusion of the 2020 Nurses Ball. It's looking like things can only become more intense on Friday.
