Lulu may wake from her coma but whose face will we see.

General Hospital viewers were shocked when Emme Rylan was fired and her character sent away to a long term care facility. Lulu Spencer Falconeri was popular and part of a core Port Charles family. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason for her departure and now what spoilers are suggesting is ruffling the feathers of many loyal viewers. Soap Dirt and Celeb Dirty Laundry are suggesting that Lulu might soon wake up from her coma and return to her family. The rumor mill suggests that Julie Berman might return to the role she originated as a teenage, Leslie Lu Spencer or there will be a recast.

A number of fans believe this is disloyal to Rylan and wonder why the powers that be fired her in the first place? On Tuesday, Jackie Templeton and her soon to be ex husband were on screen so it looks like new characters are getting some air time. These two characters will not be making the type of money as Emme Rylan or William deVry who recently had his last scene as Julian Jerome. Dev and Dustin were collateral damage which has viewers believing this is an issue of money.

Replacing Emme Rylan with Julie Berman or a different actress so soon will not go over well with the viewers and will be a slap in the face of the woman who portrayed a legacy character. On Tuesday, Dante and Laura both expressed their faith in Lulu returning home. Fans are taking note that she is still being talked about and not ignored. Could this possibly be an indication that the character will one day return? In the meantime, Laura is trying to take down Cyrus in spite of the fact that he is her half-brother. Dante is still trying to get evidence of the many crimes of Peter August, although thus far he has been unsuccessful.

Lulu's mother and former husband have a lot on their plates to keep them busy as they wait on her to recover. Viewers, however, are still angry over the fact that Rylan lost her job. They do not want to see Berman or a replacement at this time as the wound is still fresh. Should there be a different Lulu perhaps a reunion with Dante might soften the attitudes of those who wish Rylan was still on the ABC daytime drama. Since leaving General Hospital. Berman has had roles on Chicago Med and the Hulu channel comedy series Casual. There has been no indication that she will return to her former role.

One issue that General Hospital fans are in agreement on is the fact that Valentin is not taking advantage of the situation and attempting to cut off Charlotte from Dante and Rocko. This is one less issue to bring stress and should Lulu wake up she will be thankful for it. Most General Hospital fans believe the rumors of Lulu returning soon to be baseless and don't expect that she will wake up anytime soon. What would be the point of sending her away if she was going to return a month later? The fact that the character was not killed off does leave the door open for a return but at this point, no one knows what the writers are thinking.

Right now the focus in Port Charles seems to be on Sonny returning and Cyrus paying for his crimes. On Tuesday Renault threatened to report Brando for fraud where Dev was concerned. Lulu's uncle is not showing signs of trying to live above board and change his life and her mother wants to be the one who puts him behind bars. Some spoilers say that Dante is close to getting incriminating information on Peter, and if true this storyline will come to a close. Be on the lookout for breking news related to Lulu, Julie Berman, and Emme Rylan.
