General Hospital: Former co-stars are at odds

On General Hospital Alexis Davis and Jasper Jax Jacks once had a wonderful relationship. Their portrayers Ingo Rademacher and Nancy Lee Grahn also got along but lately have been on opposite ends of the spectrum. During an interview with conservative talk show host Tucker Carson, Rademaker said that he loved Nancy and enjoyed working with her but his recent comments about her seem to paint a different picture.

Grahn has been outspoken in her disagreement with her former castmate regarding his not getting the COVID vaccine and speaking out on the Coronavirus and other issues have caused a number of General Hospital fans to call for her firing. Both Rademach and Grahn have alluded to the other being bigoted in their views and a number of fans have been taking sides. Rademacher told Carlson that behind the scenes on General Hospital he had a lot of support from conservative thinking cast members but they did not stand with him in public. The only other GH cast member to take a stand against being vaccinated was Steve Burton who portrayed Jason Morgan and was also fired.

COVID 19 causes problems

Rademacher believes the Creator has given out bodies the ability to heal themselves and does not believe in vaccines that are man made. He says Western medicine has its place but it is not preventative so his family uses alternative methods to stay healthy. While Burton has remained silent except to say he hopes to return to General Hospital one day, Rademacher has been on a roll.

In addition to the Carlson interview and his Instagram posts the actor has filed a lawsuit against Disney which owns ABC. Rademacher believes that if the General Hospital cast who agreed with him in private had all stood together against the vaccine the ABC soap would have been cancelled. Grahn has said that the COVID vaccines are necessary to prevent more people from dying and she considers it irresponsible not to be innoculated.

The reason there needs to be a vaccine mandate is because there are ppl who refuse to get vaccinated because they believe they somehow know more than the leading experts, the best scientists in the world, who are united in their findings that this vaccine is safe and necessary to lower our chances of dying or getting serious ill and of causing this for people who can’t be vaccinated.”

General Hospital: Jax and Alexis had each other's backs

On screen Jax and Alexis had been best friends and once married each other but it was not for love. Alexis later was the best person at one of Jasper's other weddings. Jax was the only man in the life of Ms. Davis who was not in the mob. His brother Jerry Jax, ( Sebastian Roche), Julian Jerome (William deVry), Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard), Rick Lancing (Rick Hearst), and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) all have been on the werong side of the law at one time or another.

Jax and Alexis did not always see eye to eye but they had a mutual respect for each other that their portrayers are not at this time exhibiting. In December Rademacher said the following about his former co-star. “After working with someone for 25 years, you’d think they’d have a little more respect, and have a little more integrity.” He also accused Grahn of revealing that he had been fired before he could share the news himself.

General Hospital fans were shocked that Rademacher attacked Nancy in such a fashion when she never called him by name in her posts and this turned some former supporters against the actor. One thing viewers need to remember is that these are actors playing a role. The chemistry they exibit in front of the camera will not always translate into off-screen relationships or agreement on certain matters.
