'General' Hospital' flips the script and proves spoilers wrong

When spoiler alerts say they have received information from a reliable source, or a set insider, the projection they make should be accurate. This was true at one time but increasingly, once dependable spoilers are now missing the mark at an alarming rate. Either the sites themselves are giving misleading information and printing fake news or their resources are lying. When you see a storyline go in the complete opposite direction of what had been stated you know something is very off.

All the spoiler alerts for General Hospital were saying that Lulu and Julian would die in the explosion at the Floating Rib. Several updates also stated that Dustin and Dante were going to work together to save Lulu. On Monday this was proven wrong as Julian and Lulu are alive and well thus far. A surprise twist in the storyline came when Dev and Dustin died as a result of the explosion. Fans are angry because it was not that long ago that Oscar passed away from a brain tumor. Viewers are wondering why the show is killing off the teens and leaving Joss, Cam, and Trina to deal with so much grief.

William deVry and Emme Rylan have all but admitted that they will soon be off the ABC daytime drama. The bomb Julian planted was a smokescreen that allowed spoilers and viewers to assume a wrong narrative. One tidbit that was accurate was that one of the young people would die and most fans were correct in assuming that it would be Dev. Monday's episode was almost over before Jason showed up and said Danny was OK and at the Quartermain mansion. I don't believe anyone thought Jason would die but fans were not sure about his son. Now the question now will be how Lulu and Julian exit Port Charles?

Will they also be killed or simply leave town. On Friday Dustin proposed just before the explosion but the look on Lulu's face indicated that she was not going to say yes. She had told him she wanted to talk about their relationship prior to his pulling out the ring.It seemed as though she were reconsidering her feelings for Dante but now she will be dealing with survivor's guilt and mourn what could have been. In time she might reunite with her husband and move away from Port Charles but probably no time soon. Now that Dev and Dustin are dead, would General Hospital kill off any more characters?

Some fans believe Julian will leave town and take a new identity but at this point nothing is certain. He could still lose his life because Sam may put the pieces together. If she remembers her father trying to confess something she may figure out that he set the bomb. The question is would Sonny really have Jason take out Sam’s dad and Danny’s grandfather? The real enemy is Cyrus so if Julian is executed it would probably be his new acquaintance. Soap Dirt said that Lulu would die and Dante promises to care for the children. What viewers saw was Dustin tell Dante to look out for Lulu.

If Laura’s daughter died now after these recent events the viewers will probably boycott the ABC daytime drama. It had also been believed that Cyrus might order a hit on Lulu because she is poking her nose in his business. This could still be a factor. When deVry and Rylan are finally gone this will be four cast members, that were cut, five of you count Jackie, who is the mother of detective Chase. Viewers are now left to figure out what will come next and it may be difficult to figure out. There are a few things fans might want to consider.

When William deVry portrayed Storm Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, he sacrificed himself for the sake of his sister Katie. Storm committed suicide by wrecking his vehicle so his sibling could have his heart. That’s pretty gruesome but perhaps Julian might feel so guilty about his choices that he will go after Cyrus and die in the process. This could be accidentally or on purpose. In the movie The Petrified Forrest, a man set his own self up to be shot and killed by a criminal so a young woman would inherit his money and use it to travel the world. Viewers can only watch and wait because spoilers have missed it on this one by many miles. Best of luck to Mark Lawson and Ashton Arbib on their future acting endeavors.
