Brooklyn Rae Selzer was born on April 7, 2006 anf began portraying Emma Scorpio Drake on GENERAL HOSPITAL in July 2011 when she was only 5 years old. She was written out of the ABC soap in 2016 when her parents Patrick and Robin left Port Charles. She has returned on a few occasions and her fans adore her and have enjoyed watching her grow up on screen.. Recently there has been talk among GH fans on social media about a possible return of the 15 year old.

Emma was very close with her grandmother Anna, (Finola Hughes) and some who watched GENERAL HOSPITAL thought she might remain in Port Charles and be cared for by her grandmother or at least return on a recurring basis. She did appear in a few episodes after her family moved out west but then she was seen no more.

In 2016 Silzer was in the movie Christmas Homestead portraying Sophie Lawson. In 2017 the young actress had the role of Abby in THE STORYTELLER along with GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Kristina wagoner,(Felicia Scorpio) and Constance Towers, (Helena Cassadine).

Emma and her grandmother Anna

Kimberly McCullough who portrays her mother Robin Scorpio Drake retired from acting a few years ago to work behind the camera. It was recently reported that McCullough will return to GH on Friday May 21 for a tribute to the late John Reilly who portrayed her godfather Sean Donely(or Donnelly) on screen. Jason Patrick who played Emma's father Patrick Drake has been portraying Billy Abbott on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS since leaving GENERAL HOSPITAL.

Emma was a miracle baby because her mother Robin was HIV positive but did not pass the illness to her unborn child. The annual GENERAL HOSPITAL Nurses Ball is in honor of Robin and the last time Emma was in a serious storyline was during the gala a number of years back when Spencer Cassadine, (Nikolas Betchel )was talking about a Chupacapbra and there was a mystery box sent by Helena Cassadine.

Spencer, Emma, Cameron

GENERAL HOSPITAL fans recall when Spencer was in love with the fair Emma and trying to win her away from Cameron Weber. Some viewers think it would be nice if both Silzer and Betchel return to Port Charles and begin a romantic relationship. Laura, Ava, Nikolas, and even Cyrus have been mentioning the teen Cassadine prince lately but there have been no reports that he will return to the show.

The actors who portray Trina, Cameron, and Josslyn are all headed to college in real time. If they are not able to remain on GENERAL HOSPITAL it would be nice to have Spencer and Emma around as teens. There has not been a teen romance on the show since Joslyn fell for Oscar who later died. Fans were disappointed when Dev was written out because they thought he might date Joss or Trina

During her time on the ABC daytime drama, Brooklyn Selzer won a number of awards. In 2013 she received the Young Artist Award - Best Performance in a Daytime TV Series - Young Actress Ten & Under. The following year she was nominated for the Young Artist Award - Best Performance in a Daytime TV Series - Young Actress.

In 2016 Selzer was nominated for a Young Artist Award - Best Performance in a TV Series, Recurring Young Actress 13 and under. That same year she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award, for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. In 2016 she won a Young Entertainer Award (YEA), Best Young Actress - Daytime Series. Be on the lookout for updates related to a possible Emma and or Spencer return to GENERAL HOSPITAL.
