‘General Hospital’ fans are loving the new episodes

The General Hospital writing team obviously used the hiatus time to their advantage. A number of fans are agreeing that the new episodes are packed with energy, excitement, and many twists and turns. So far every episode has been one to keep viewers on the edge of their seats and the fans indicate they want more. The Nurses Ball is still going to happen although no date has been given. Lucy Coe might find she does not get much support this year as she is in cahoots with two of the most loathed men in Port Charles. She accepted a large donation from drug Lord Cyrus Renault and used her tie breaking share of ELQ to side with Valentine who now is the CEO of the Quartermaine company.

Sam was manipulated into giving Mr. Cassadine the voting proxy for Danny and Scout and now regrets it. Ned kicked Brooklynn out of the mansion because she unwittingly sold her stock to Valentin. Ned and Olivia have been having some heated arguments and Olivia went behind her husband’s back and gave his daughter a key to a room at the Metro Court. It seems like old times at the Q mansion with all the infighting along with the hostile takeover of ELQ. Perhaps Traci will return to help her family win the battle and reclaim the legacy her father left behind. On a bright note, Michael won sole custody of Wiley and it looks like he and Willow are really falling in love. Sasha is becoming hooked on drugs but she and Chase believe they made the right decision in lying that they had an affair.

No one knows that Nelle has a tracking device inside a stuffed Kangaroo and is planning on kidnapping Wiley. Since marrying Julian did not win her custody of her son she just might expose Mr. Jerome’s role in the baby switch. He wants out but it's clear his wife is not done with him yet. A conversation between Julian and Ava seem3ed to imply that one of them might send Ms.Benson to meet her maker once the custody hearing was done. Prince Nikolas let his uncle know that he is watching him and it turns out that Spencer and Nikolas are working together to guilt Ava into walking away from her marriage.

Earlier spoilers teased that once Ms. Jerome gave up everything that her husband might realize he truly loves her. Mike perked up enough to tell Sonny he wants to go home and everyone thinks he is talking about turning woods. Felix is back and working at the hospital and Liz is not supporting Franco allowing Ava to exploit his work. Jordan held a press conference and exonerated Cyrus Renault of all wrongdoing and now he is the chairman of the General Hospital board. Curtis found out a secret about Renault who told Jordan to keep her husband in check. Lulu asked Nikolas to bail out the hospital from its financial issues but it may be too late as Cyrus might already be taking control.

It turns out that Nickolas is working with Spencer in order to get Ava to walk out on the marriage. Now fans are wondering if the Young Cassadine prince knew all along that his father was alive. Prior to the hiatus spoilers suggested that Ava would walk away from it all and Nik will realize he really loves her. Felix is back and keeping watch on Mike Corbin who is saying he wants to go home. Sonny believes his father desires to return to Turning Woods where his new wife is, but some viewers think Mike is ready to die. Many fans have already been in tears as they wish there was a way to keep the talented Max Gail on the show.

The Alzheimer's storyline must be concluded realistically and it was planned from the beginning that Sonny's dad would die. Spoiler alerts along with posts on Max Gail's Facebook page are letting everyone to prepare to use a lot of tissue. Dominic Zomprogna is back as Dante but has not yet returned home to Lulu and their children. Olivia has been praying to see her son but this will be a bombshell for all involved. Perhaps Dante can be a comfort to Sonny as he deals with losing Mike. hese are but a few on the ongoing current situations in Port Charles that fans are loving.
