'General Hospital' continues confusing viewers with strange connections between Port Charles residents

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are scratching their heads and wondering what the writers are thinking lately? It seems as if they are turning the entire town upside down and mixing up friendships as well as romantic relationships. There does not seem to be a method to the madness but two cast members have said they enjoy doing something different. Maurice Benard and Steve Burton are excited at having a different dynamic with characters than they did in the past. Those who watch the ABC soap are less than thrilled with all the chaos and confusi0on that is going on. Change is necessary on the soaps but what the GH writers are doing is destroying the entire town as well as many viewers confidence in the powers that be.

Anna and Obrecht

Who would ever have thought that in this lifetime they would see Anna Devane and Liesl Obrecht bonding? The two women have come together over their shared hatred of Peter August. They first go together when they went to a place where they could vent their anger by destroying things. Now they are at the gym and boxing together. These women have been sworn enemies and some fans are having a hard time buying into the fact that they now can tolerate and even spend time with each other.

Liz and Sam

Elizabeth and Sam have been bonding over their shared angst over the upcoming wedding of Jason and Carly. The two drowned their sorrow in a bottle of tequila and set afire in a dumpster to protest Jarly moving on with each other. The women seem as if they are headed towards being good friends but really have nothing in common except past relationships with Jason.

Jason and Carly

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers really do not like the storyline with Jason and Carly contemplating marriage. These decades long best friends make an awkward couple and no one wants to see them cross the line and possibly become friends with benefits. A number of fans on social media have been saying that the writers should have separated these two and allowed Jason to put Carly in her place and move on with Britt.

Austin and Chase

Austin suddenly has become the champion for Detective Chase and is giving him advice on how to handle finding out Michael and Willow slept together. The doctor's motives are not clear and Chase should have the instincts from his job that tell him not to trust this man. Chase wanted to confront his wife and former best friends but Dr. Holt advised him not to. Those who watch GENERAL HOSPITAL believe Edward's grandson is up to something and that Chase will be the one who ends up losing all.

Sonny and Nina

Maurice Benard continues to try to calm disgruntled viewers but everyone knows this storyline is going nowhere fast. Mike will soon regain his memory and Nina is going to be in big trouble. Benard says he enjoys doing something different but there are other ways that his characters could have been "stretched." This is a disaster in the making and fans want it to simply be over and done.

Sam and Dante

Emmy Rylan fans are holding out hope that Lulu will regain consciousness and return to Port Charles. Prior to dropping to the floor, she mouthed the words "I love you" to her estranged husband. This gave Lante fans the hope that this couple would reunite. Last week, however, Laura told Dante that her daughter's condition was not getting any better and she gave her former son-in-law her blessing to move on. Overwhelmingly GENERAL HOSPITAL fans do not like Sam and Dante together but their fan base seems to be growing based on social media comments.

Scott and Obrecht

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers were beginning to enjoy Scott and Obrecht together and suddenly they were no more. The couple did not fight or break up they are just shown in different scenes as if they never hooked up. Fans were getting used to the couple and the sweet nothings they said to each other and then for no apparent reason they seem to be history. Thus has confused viewers who wanted to see more of Liesl and her new beau.

Britt and Jason

Many of those who watch GENERAL HOSPITAL were not sure about Jason and Britt getting togethe but like Scott and Obrecht they began to grow on the fans. Britt let her guard down and shared her meidcal secret with Jason who promised to be there for her. He broke her heart when he abruptly announced he was marrying Carly. No one can figure out why the writers did not allow the couple to have smooth sailing at least for a little while.

Terry and Britt

Monica making Britt and Terry work together as co-chief of staff stunned viewers although some saw it coming and predicted it. GENERAL HOSPITAL fans are wondeirng what the long term purpose is and how this will eventually end. will Britt and Terry end up friends or will one of them have the job and the other be fired?

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers will be watchung, waiting, and hoping that some of this confusion will work itself out and be resolved. Stay tuned to see what happenx next.
