When Batman was introduced in 1939, he was a killing machine. He used to carry a gun and regularly killed criminals by shooting them, strangling them, knocking them off buildings, bombing them, knocking them into vats of acid pits and even crush them under his car. But as Time went on, the writers made a big change to him, they introduced the strict "no-killing" rule and since then the Batman has been following that.

Nobody is perfect, so is THE WORLD'S GREATEST DETECTIVE - BATMAN. There are some instances where even the caped crusader had to break them or because the writers just wanted him to do that. Well I will not be including the movies, cause in the new movies... Well he just kills without a reason.

So, here are the Five Versions of Batman who has killed.

5. Injustice Batman

In Tom Taylor's Injustice series, Superman infamously murdered the Joker after the Clown Prince of Crime after he used a scarecrow toxin to trick the Man of Steel into accidentally killing Lois Lane and his unborn child when he thought he was fighting Doomsday.

In Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Three Superman relives his most tragic day after getting put to sleep with magic dust. However, instead of losing his family, this time, Batman manages to relay to Superman that Doomsday was actually Lois before it was too late. Instead of killing Joker, Superman wants to question him - but Batman intervenes. He makes a promise to Superman that the Joker will never hurt him again.

Batman puts him in the Batmobile and is told by his arch-nemesis he's the reason he smiles and kills. He continues to tell the Dark Knight he's going to continue to torment his friends, and says he'll "wait until Superman's baby is born" to try to kill him again, adding "children scream in a way that --" before Batman snaps his neck.

Batman immediately turns himself into the police. Superman thanks his friend for breaking his biggest rule to keep his family safe. Superman would get to live out his dream life before later be awakened.

Joker trying to kill Superman's family was the last straw for Batman. When the Joker showed no remorse and said he was going to go after Clark and Lois' kid again, Bruce decided his moral code wasn't worth the deaths of those closest to him

4. All-Star Batman

In All-Star Batman and Robin No. 7, 2007, Batman straight of the bat (Yes its a Pun) Begins the issue by burning Criminals! He grabs a bottle of flammable bleach, combines it with thermite and Voila! Guess What flings it into the Goddamn crowd.

And even after burning them alive, my Man still wants to kick their ASS. What a Badass...

3. Flashpoint Paradox Batman

Okay so this version of Batman is not Bruce Wayne, but someone who has the last name Wayne... well that's right it's Bruce Wayne's father Thomas Wayne. In this timeline, instead of Bruce's father and mother being murdered, it is Bruce who gets killed... As a result, Thomas Wayne wished revenge so took up to the mantle of Batman, but unlike his son he is far more ruthless in his actions as he is happy to kill any criminal that gets in his way.

Fun Fact: In this timeline, Martha Wayne is the Joker.

Anyways, so this Batman is ruthless and likes to fill lead in the criminals body... He feels no remorse.

2.The Devastator

Doomsday will always be known as the creature that buried Superman. However, the monster’s Achilles’ heel is its lack of intelligence. Dark Knights: Metal explores what a Doomsday with a brain would look like when Bruce Wayne modifies the Doomsday virus to turn himself into the beast.

Subsequently, Batman has the ability to transform into Doomsday at will. Using the virus ultimately drives Wayne mad, as he intends to infect the entire world with the virus. The combination of Doomsday’s power and Wayne’s insanity makes this Batman one of the most menacing versions fans have ever seen.

1. The Batman Who Laughs

Okay, so this version of BATMAN is A complete maniac and by far the most deadliest version of BATMAN and that's why he has the number one spot. The Batman Who Laughs, is the "Jokerized" version of Batman who originated from the Dark Multiverse. He is the team leader of the Dark Knights and their goal was to help their master Barbatos plunge the whole Multiverse into complete and utter darkness.

He killed every member of the Justice League except one: Superman, who he later Infects with a black krytonite which makes him kill his beloved wife Lois Lane... before dying as a side effect of the space rock.

He also savagely kills his entire Family... he invites the entire Bat-Family into the cave to train, the family believed that Batman was training his proteges to defeat his soon-to-be evil self. This was not the case. He instead fills them all with lead...

This VERSION of BATMAN is by far the most deadliest and evil one we have ever seen... The Batman who laughs is as powerful as Batman himself however he's as twisted as Joker, in this case even exceeds the joker himself.
