Nick might end up saving his daughter's life after a dangerous medical emergency.

Faith Newman seems to be on the right track now after months of spiraling out of control. She is home from the hospital after wrecking a truck while she had been drinking and her injuries are on the mend. She has a new friend and protector in Moses Winters and is getting therapy to deal with her trauma. If spoiler alerts are right, however, this is not the dawn of a new day, but only the calm before the storm. It seems that Faith has a medical issue that has gone undetected and it will soon put her in a life threatening situation.

Faith had gone back to Walnut Grove school and Neil's grandson straightened out a bully who was teasing her. She stood up to Jordan who tried to apologize for mistreating her and is attempting to move forward with her life. Viewers understand that Ms. Newman has some very dysfunctional situations going on in her life and does not truly have any role models she can look up to. Sharon cannot remain in a relationship and has gone back and forth between Nick, Adam, and Rey.

Nick keeps returning to Phyllis and also was with Chelsea who currently is married to Adam. Faith has conflicting emotions regarding her uncle who once kidnapped her and now has saved her life. He also switched her grandpa Victor's medication and it could have caused the Newman patriarch to die. These are but a few of the situations this girl has grown up with and it's a wonder she is not more troubled than her current situation. her grandmother Nikki is a recovering alcoholic and her aunt Victoria and uncle Billy are always dealing with some type of crisis as well as making up and breaking up.

Faith is half sisters with Maria because they share Sharon as a mother. She is half sisters with Summer because Nick is the dad to both. They all may soon be rallying around her if what is being projected is true. Spoilers are saying that Faith may soon need an organ donor and her father Nick is the one who is going to save her life. it's not known which organ is failing or why but she could have sustained damage to a kidney in the accident. This sounds reminiscent of Summer having to donate an organ to Lola a few years back.

If a kidney is what Faith needs then neither sister can help her because Summer only has one and Mariah is pregnant and carrying a child for Chance and Abby. If Nick is going to be the organ donor then there must be a reason that her mother Sharon cannot help her out. This situation should bring everyone together but Rey is so angry about Adam that he may remain far away from Sharon and the Newmans even though he loves his stepdaughter.

Faith had been drinking heavily for a while but it does not seem likely that she has already damaged her liver. This could be the case if the soap desires to make a point about teenage drinking and the possible repercussions. If they deal in reality, however, there are others on The Young and the Restless whose livers should already have imploded by now.

Recently Alyvia Lyn who has portrayed Faith Newman for a decade left the role to pursue a career on a Netflix series. Reylynn Caster who had been on Netflix has stepped into the role and if viewers don't look closely they will not be able to tell the difference. Reylynn is 18 and her predecessor will not turn 14 until July. An older actress can probably be given meatier roles than the younger version of Faith. Some fans believe she and Moses will eventually fall in love but that might be put on hold if there is indeed a medical crisis.
