Emme Rylan updates fans on her current situation.

When Emme Rylan was let go from General Hospital last December, there was an outcry from outraged viewers. Since 2013 the actress had portrayed Lulu Spencer Falconeri who is a beloved legacy character in Port Charles. Ryan previously portrayed Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless during her "Naked Heiress" days. Y&R had Rylan on a recurring status and she left the show because she desired a contract position. Ryland stepped into the of Lul that had just been vacated by Julie Berman and made the character her own.

At the time of Lulu's unfortunate accident, 3 other actors were let go from their GH roles. Viewers were angry and shared their frustrations on social media but the ABC daytime drama roled on. There had ben speculation for months and Rylan remained silent but eventually told her disappointed social media followers that it was true she had lost her job. General Hospital viewers loved Dante and Lulu as a couple and have had several disappointments where they are concerned.

Viewers were first shocked when Dominic Zampragna decided to walk away from Port Charles and Dante went on a secret mission. Lul fell in love with Dustin and eventually, fans were beginning to warm up to him. Just when they were getting serious as a couple Zampragna decided to come back to his role and Dante returned home. Dustin died as a result of the explosion at the Floating Rib, Lulu suffered brain damage and was not aware of it. She had just realized the still wanted her spouse and mouthed the words "I love you" to him when she collapsed in the floor.

Fans are eagerly awaiting news from the powers that be regarding the fate of this character. The rumor mill had suggested that Julie Berman who preceded Rylan in the role might be asked to return to General Hospital. There were also alleged leaks that said the show had to make drastic budget cuts because of COVID and would probably hire someone new as Luke and Laura's daughter. Emme Rylan has stated publically that she would be happy to return to her role as Lulu if asked but no one knows what the future holds for this character.

Since leaving General Hospital Rylan, her fiance and 3 children have been traveling cross country because her previous landlord sold the house they had been living in. COVID-19 made it difficult for the family to find somewhere new, so they hit the road. Emme died her hair pink and set off to Ohio to visit her grandparents. In February the actress announced that she and her family had returned to California. They still have not found a place to call home but are grateful they have relatives they can turn to.

General Hospital spoilers have teased that Dante might become involved with Sam since she is no longer with Jason, and Lulu is away, The two began bonding over their shared half brother Rocko and had seemed to be growing closer. In an unconventional sort of way these two could be considered as being related. Sam was married to Jason who is the best friend of Sonny who is Dante's dad. Sam's dad Julian and Dante's mom Olivia are Rocko's parents. Some viewers believe that these two should not cross the line and that Dante should wait for Lulu to return.

During the past few weeks, however, the storylines have gone in other directions and the duo have not been running into each other. Both have been busy with their mothers as Alexis just got sent to Pentonville prison and Olivia is having trouble with Ned. It's not clear at this point what will happen next between Dante and Sam but fans are hoping that somehow, some way Emma Ryan will return as Lulu to Port Charles and reclaim her man. Traveling with a fiancee and 3 children and staying with relatives is not the best way to raise a family. Let's hope Emma Rylan and her clan can soon find a suitable place to live and she can get back to work.
