General Hospital actress signs a 3 year contract

Eden McCoy was not sure if she could juggle her first year of a college education while working on General Hospital. The actress has weighed the pros and cons and decided that she can do both. This is good news for her followers who enjoy her character. McCoy just inked a new 3 year contract deal with the ABC soap so her fans can rest easy that she is not going anywhere anytime soon. The actress shared on The Chat that she has been on GH since elementary school and that she is determined her studies at The University of Southern California will not suffer.

Josslyn was first portrayed by Jamie Lea Willett in a dream Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had in 2009. That same year McKenna and Karleigh Larson took over the role and kept it until 2012. Sarah Johnson portrayed the daughter of Jasper Jax Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) later in 2012 and remained in it until 2013 when Page Oliver took over. Hannah Nordberg was Joss from 2014-2015 and later portrayed Judy Ogle the best friend of Dolly Parton in two television movies about the country superstar.

General Hospital: Eden McCoy steps in

McCoy stepped in as Joslyn in 2015 and has portrayed the character ever since. The teen has endured the death of her boyfriend Oscar Nero, (Garrin Stit) her good friend Deve Servi (Ashton Arbab), and her godfather Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). She has endured countless battles between her parents Carly and Jax and watched her mom go back and forth between her dad and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

In addition to General Hospital, the actress appeared in the Nickelodeon comedies The Thundermans, and Game Shakers. She also appeared in Disney's Walk the Prank. She has appeared in several independent films and performed in two Los Angeles Opera productions.

Joslyn Jacks has a lot on her plate

Joss is in love with Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) and her best friend Trina Robinsons (Sydney MaKayla) who is crushing on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves). Joslyn is now caught between her loyalty to Trina, her friendship with Spencer, and her ire for his girlfriend Esme Prince (Kristen Pole).and spoilers tease that a lot of fireworks are coming. The group is supposed to get together for a weekend at a cabin before Spence begins serving his term at Springridge.

The teens are also juggling college with the rest of their life just like their portrayers and trying to figure out life along the way. Kudos to Eden McCoy for having the courage to balance a college career and a full-time acting career. The actress says that her environment on General Hospital is what makes it all possible. Both Makayla and Lipton went o recurring status when they began school and neither has said how things are working out at this current time. All three teens are to be commended for juggling their first year of higher education with the demands of being on a daytime drama.

Joss has not yet addressed the news that Sonny fell in love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while in Nixon Falls. She hates Nina for keeping her stepdad away from her mom for 9 months so this new wrinkle in the story will surely add to her anger. Fans of McCoy will be elated to know that she is doing her best to maintain in school and also be a part of the action in Port Charles. Be on the lookout for updates related to Joss and what happens next in her life on General Hospital.
