Ashland might have dated Dina

On Tuesday's episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, there were some seeds planted that may possibly lead to the revelation that Ashland Locke may have had a romantic encounter with Dina Mergeron. It could even turn out that Locke was a gigolo while in his 20s and that he may have swindled Dina out of some money. The CBS soap has been teasing for weeks that there was some secret that Victoria was not aware of. Some viewers thought perhaps it was the fact that the business mogul is not really dying and spoilers suggested that he may have pulled such a stunt before.

Victor, Nick, and Billy are all determined to find dirt on Locke in order to stop Victoria from marrying him. Nick and Billy agreed that there is something about this man that seems off and needs to be revealed. On Tuesday Billy told Lily that he had found out some information regarding his ex-wife's fiancee. He shared that when Ashland was in his 20s he had an affair with an older woman who was wealthy. Simultaneously, Traci was sharing with Jack that her next book is a fictitious account of what their mother was doing in Paris when she was young.

Will there be a wedding?

This may all be a coincidence but Ashland dating a random older woman would not matter to anyone at this point. Everyone knows that Dina was sexually promiscuous and left her husband and children to explore life. Ashland being one of her many past lovers should not even raise eyebrows. If however he somehow blackmailed Dina and or swindled her out of money then everything would be different. Perhaps it was Dina's money that got him his start in business in the first place. If this is the case then everything would be viewed differently and he will incur the wrath of the Abbotts as well as the Newmans.

Jack has mentioned that his father John and Locke were once business rivals and that Ashland did not take advantage of the situation when he could have. Is it possible that Dina was somehow the reason that the Lockeness monster backed off and left John alone? This is all speculation but there is the possibility that Traci's book and Billy's discovery are connected. Lily is trying to be understanding but she seems to be getting weary of Billy always trying to remain in Victoria's life.

Jack and Traci's conversation may be leading to someting.

Should it turn out that Ashland did something underhanded where Dina was concerned Vicki could always forgive him and say it was in his past. Billy, Victor, Nick, and especially Jack will be lived to find out such information. Victoria might even turn on the father of her children for bringing the facts to light. Whether Ashland is faking a terminal illness or somehow hurt Dina it will not go well for him. Richard Burgi was originally only supposed to be on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS through the summer and that time is almost over.

Billy may be on thin ice with Victoria

Ashland Locke could die before his wedding or his big secret could be revealed and unless his contract was extended with THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS he is going to be out one way or another. Its possible that Locke might be trying to pull the same scam on Victoria that he did with Dina. He could be trying to take over Newman as well as be lying about his medical condition. Be on the lookout for spoilers and updates that are sure to come as the wedding day draws near. A number of viewers have suspected all along that Ashland may have been using Victoria to get back at her father because Victor made him sign a contract while having a heart attack. Stay tuned to find out just how devious or not this man really is.
