He's back!

At the end of Monday's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL, viewers saw that Port Charles public enemy number one is alive and well and spying on Maxie in Nixon Falls. Peter August survived what was thought to have brought about his demise and many astute fans called this from day one. This is because there were obvious reasons the villain should not be deceased. It was revealed that Wes Ramsey's contract was not up until November so some who watch the ABC soap assumed he would be back whether in person or as a ghost at least until then.

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers also suspected that the soap would not have allowed both Dr. Finn and Nurse Weber to be charged with Peter's murder. Fans detest Mr. August but love Wes Ramsey and desire a way for him to be redeemed. One of his castmates, however, does not agree as Tristan Rogers was recently quoted as saying he does not think Ramsey is the right choice to portray such a devious character. This actually is what makes Wes perfect for the role because he does not look it at a glance. He can however give a certain glare and you know he means business.

How did Peter get from here to Nixon Falls?

On Tuesday Peter was at the Tan O and became stunned when Sonny did not recognize him and introduced himself as Mike. He was even more surprised to find out that Nina was in Nixon Falls and knew Sonny has amnesia. Meanwhile back in Port Charles Sam was telling Dante that she wished she could kill Mr. August herself. Maxie has also been complaining about her baby daddy and despite what Tristan Rogers said Peter looked pretty menacing as he asked Nina what she was up to.

Now that Drew Cain is known to be alive Peter August cannot be held accountable for his murder. GENERAL HOSPITAL might be taking the character down a path of redemption. Outside of the fact that he poisoned Detective Chase there really is not much that can be pinned on Peter at this time. Nurse Chloe is alive so he is not guilty of killing her either. There was not enough evidence to get him for framing Obrecht for his crimes but spoilers tease that Nina might call on aunt Liesl for help because she is not sure how to handle this turn of events.

Nina now is hiding a second secret from Mike.

Fans who predicted that the madman did not die will be eagerly awaiting the details of how he survived. How did Peter escape from the freezer and who assisted him in the cleanup? How could both Liz and Finn have been wrong about his being dead and what about all the blood he lost and the fact they could not get a pulse? The cameras at GENERAL HOSPITAL were disabled so the show may clue viewers in by using flashbacks as they did leading up to the reveal that Finn knocked Peter down the stairs.

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers who were hoping that Sonny would be heading to Port Charles after Lenny died are now perplexed. Neither Nina nor Peter want their secrets exposed so the Nixon Falls storyline could drag on a little longer. Mike is clueless and needs to regain his memory as Sonny because he now has 2 Port Charles residents deceiving him. Spoilers tease that Trina might share her secret sauce spaghetti sauce with Jossyln who may recognize the taste and be reminded of Sonny.

Mike could soon realize he is Sonny

Joss is going to give her father a taste of the sauce and perhaps it might come out that she got the sauce from the Tan-O in Nixon Falls. GENERAL HOSPITAL fans will be hoping that all of these loose ends tie together and that Peter showing up, Drew Cain turning up alive along with Sonny's signature sauce will lead to the conclusion of this storyline so stay tuned.
