Devon gets revenge on Nate on 'The Young and the Restless'

A promo for this week on The Young and the Restless shows Elena crying as she is telling Devon that she slept with Nate. Ms. Dawson seems to be in tears in almost every episode lately so let's hope something works out in her favor that will put a smile on her face. The next scene in the promo shows Neil's son with guns blazing reaching out to punch his cousin with his fist. Monday's Y&R episode was devoted to the Abbotts dealing with Dina's death and Summer stalking Kyle. The brawl between Devona and Nate will probably come on Tuesday or later in the week.

Elena seems truly remorseful and wants Devon's forgiveness. but Dr.Hastings clearly has developed feelings for her. He went so far as to break things off with Amanda which indicates he may have believed Elena would break up with Devon and run straight to him. Soaps.com says that Devon will take matters into his own hands and that Nate will have a rude awakening. The good doctor might have to acknowledge that Ms. Dawson does not want a relationship with him and now he has lost Amanda. Things probably will never be the same with Nate and Devon either.

This situation is quite complicated as Elena and Dr. Hastings run the clinic together. Now that Devon knows the truth, he may not want her to continue working with Nate. This is on the condition that he forgives Elena. There is always the chance that he will not care. He could walk out on her and end up with Amanda, who is shocked that Nate ended things so abruptly. The spoiler indicates that Amanda will get some type of invitation from Devon but does not say what it is. Demanda fans will be excited as this could lead to Mishael Morgan's character getting together with Devon.

This would be a joyous connection for Hilary fans but no one knows yet how this will turn out. Elena is so guilty that she could not keep the secret to herself so she came clean. She probably believed Devon would be understanding and forgive her. Instead, he is out for blood because this was a devastating thing to hear. This situation has just gone to another level and emotions will be running high. Amanda will be shocked that Nate cheated with Elena and then broke up with her. Viewers are wondering how this situation will affect the usually mild-mannered Mr. Hamilton and fans just could see a different side of him emerge.

Devon usually is non confrontational but now he is irate. There is no telling where his rage might take him. He does not seem like the type to turn to drinking but his money and power might assist him in other ways. Let's hope he is not so vindictive that he would have the clinic shut down or do something underhanded to have Nate's license taken away. There really is no telling what will take place now that he is a man scorned. The one night between Nate and Elena will have consequences far into the future and it's anybody's guess just what is going to happen.

The Young and the Restless has written the character of Devon Hamilton as being the upstanding guy who does the right thing up to this point. This situation with Elena and Nate might be what shifts the Bryton James character into a completely different gear. Spoilers have been saying that things between Amanda, Elena, Devon, and Nate would become complicated and indeed they have. The drama, betrayal, and mixed emotions, however, have only just begun. Amanda being the identical twin of Hilary who was just dumped by Nate might bring her and Devon, Elena could be out in the cold after she rejects Dr. Hastings who wants to draw her closer.
