Hey there otakus, I'm sure all of you have heard about the famous anime My Hero Academia. Today we're going to talk about some crazy quirks that have been shown in My Hero Academia throughout all seasons that have been aired till now.

Anime history

For those who don't know, My Hero Academia is one of the popular anime available here. The anime story is based on it's manga series named "Boku No Hero Academia".

• Kōhei Horikoshi wrote the manga series and Shueisha published this series.

• Viz media licensed this manga to release in North America

• The manga was published on 7th July, 2014 and still ongoing

• It has total number of 29 volumes till now.

Coming back to anime, Bones studio produced the anime. It has total 4 seasons all the way from My Hero Academia Season 1 to season 4. The 5th season has also been teased. It will be aired soon. So you can see how popular this anime is by looking at the season's number. Each season has almost 25 episodes.

What are "quirks" in My Hero Academia

The story takes place in a world where humans get superpowers. These super abilities are called "quirks". These quirks generally appear at the age of four. Eighty percent of the population have quirks. Back in story, the main protagonist is Izuku Midoriya who wants to become a hero. But Izuku has no quirk at the beginning. The story revolves around him. How he becomes power and other stuffs. You may know this by watching the series as it's a spoiler free post.

Note - only characters who have appeared in anime will be mentioned here. So there will be no connection with manga characters here.

Dark Shadow (Tokoyami)

Dark shadow looks like a monster that lives inside Tokoyami. Dark shadow always protects it's hosts and it can change it's shape according to the situation. The Dark shadow is very useful when it comes to hand to hand combats. But sometimes it may go out of control and attack anyone whether it's friends or foe. That's a major drawback of this quirk. Dark shadows power is connected to the darkness. So whenever the time is night or the place is dark, this quirk becomes so much powerful.

Foresight (Sir Nighteye)

Unlike Dark Shadow quirk, Foresight is fully in control. Sir Nighteye controls this quirk so efficiently that even Midoriya couldn't even touch him despite having so much power. Although it looks like the quirk has no berserk-type symptoms, it has some drawbacks. To use this quirk, you must fulfill two conditions. One is to have physical touch with your target and another is to have eye contact with your target. This eye shows the target's future and things that are near him. But the disadvantage is that this eye can't tell the exact time of his prediction when will it happen. It may in next minute or the next day. Another disadvantage is that future may change. So you can say that this quirk only shows the possibility, not the exact future. It has been proven by Midoriya.

Decay (Tomura Shigaraki)

Decay quirk is one that gives every character a chill. He is one of the promising villains in season 1. This quirk can transform any living or non-living thing to dust just by touching them. This quirk may look similar to Overhaul but it's not. The only drawback of this quirk is that it will only work on solid things. If someone can transform his or her body to liquid or gas, the quirk won't work against those people.

Final Words

Those are the 3 crazy quirks I mentioned. Although there are more quirks there. These 3 quirks are the least of the top 10 quirks list. So I will also make another post regarding top 7 most powerful quirks.
