Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu is the original japanese name of this anime. The main story is derived from the light novel which came in January 2014. After 4 months of light novel volumes, they released the manga in May 2014. Rifugio na Magonote wrote the manga and light novel series. The manga is running behind the light novel and the novel has already completed the story. The light novel has a total of 24 volumes. The manga is ongoing and hasn't completed yet. Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation English dub is also available. So you can see the popularity.

Plot

The story starts with a normal world like ours where all heroes are in manga, light novels, and anime. The first episode took off with an unknown guy whose age is 34. He is a Japanese NEET. After his parents died, he was kicked out of his house. His name hasn't been revealed in anime or manga till the time I'm writing the post. The guy was homeless and walking into the streets where he sees a truck is going hit some bunch of high school students. He decides to do something to save them. He was able to save two of them and loses his own life.

Now the twist comes, he thought he's dead. But soon after he is dead he finds himself as a newborn baby. He was confused about his current situation. Later he found out that he has been reincarnated into a new world, a world of swords and sorceries. In this world, he has been named Rudeus Greyrat. Rudeus considered this his second opportunity and decided not to waste his second life as he did before.

He may be a child but he kept his old memories and knowledge about computers, games, and technologies. So he quickly learned it. At the age of five, he is pretty great at performing magic. The story consists of his journeys and how will he become more powerful during his journeys.

Main Characters

The series is still ongoing we will see many new characters in the future. As of now, I'm only mentioning some characters.

• Rudeus Greyrat : Rudeus Greyrat is a reincarnated of a japanese NEET person. Undoubtedly he is the main protagonist. He became a great mage and good at studying. In spite of being a very good student, he is a total pervert like his father.
• Paul Greyrat : Paul is the father of Rudeus Greyrat. He is a great swordsman and a pervert also.
• Zenith Greyrat: Zenith is Paul's wife and a great mage also. She can do healing magic and offensive magics as well.
• Lilia : Lilia is a maid at Rudeus' house. She is a normal woman with glasses.
• Roxy Migurd: Roxy is a Migurdian demon born in the demon continent. She is also the teacher of Rudeus. Roxy taught many magics which includes his most powerful magic cumulonimbus.

Final Words

Mushoku Tensei is a great anime to watch. It has a totally unique storyline. Although there are many controversies forming around this show lately. Many people are connecting this show with child pornography or child abuse. It has little ecchi scenes. The main hero is a pervert who is only 10 years old right now.
