Neither Chad Duell nor Courtney Hope has made said anything publically regarding the state of their marriage but fans of The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, however, have determined that the couple has split. This came after it was noticed last week that their social media pages were void of each other's images. Hope may have sent a sign to her fans that she is doing well by sharing an image on social media with her Y&R castmates.

In the photo, Hope is with Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Traci E Bregman (Lauren), and Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe). The women went out for drinks to celebrate the taping of the final episode for The Young and the Restless for 2021. The women had martini shots and sent out a lot of heart emojis and I love you's to one another. On-screen the dynamic between the four is quite toxic.

Lauren took a chance on Sally even though she was warned to watch her back. She hired the redhead at Fenmore's only to find that her good deed died not go unpunished. Sally repaid the kindness her by upstaging Lauren's designer and creating the dress Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wore to her wedding with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Lauren felt betrayed by both Sally and Chloe because her sister in law knew what was going on but did not warn her.

Chelsea is Chloe's best friend and was upset that her BFF seemed to be siding with Sally whom she does not know very well. Chloe is continually attempting to put out fires and keep Sally and check while the redhead and Chelsea are both suspicious of each other because of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). The photo should make it clear that the rivalry and distrust is only on camera and these ladies have nothing but love for one another off-screen.

Fans of General Hospital and The Young and the Restless thought Duell and Hope were in their relationship for the long haul and are sad that the couple is not longer together. Chad married Taylor Novak in September 2012 after datinf for 9 months and the marriage was annuleda few months later. The actor immediately began dating General Hospital co-star Kristen Alderson (Kiki Jerome/Star Manning) and they broke up in 2015.

Duell began dating Courtney Hope the following year and they became engaged on Valentine's Day 2021. There is no record of anyone that Courtney dated prior to Chad but the actress said the following: "My parents always used to tell me love should be easy and with someone who’s your best friend. Growing up, I didn’t believe that existed anymore. When I met Chad, it was the first time I ever saw what they were talking about.”

Hope announced on social media that their black and red wedding was themed "Till death." Some fans thought the colors seemed ominous and in a strange twist of fate, it looks like the grim reaper showed up. He came but not for the bride or groom but the marriage itself met its demise. The couple tied the knot on October 23, 2021, and split less than two months later.

Courtney's photo with her Y&R castmates may or may not be related to her current situation with Chad.
