Brooke and Taylor once were enemies

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful have been saying they wondered how long it would take for Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes Krista Allen) to end their friendship and it looks like it is beginning to unravel. The women never really had a chance considering the dynamics of their family ties. Both of them still love Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and have not been completely honest with one another and now more drama has come their way.

After 3 decades of being sworn enemies on opposite ends of the love triangle Taylor and Brooke decided to choose their friendship over Ridge and it is not working. Taylor has been trying to encourage Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kana) to make a play for Brooke again but she says it's not because she wants Ridge back. Brooke withheld information from her bestie when she did not tell her that Steffy Finn (Jackie Wood) said Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) had feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and not the other way around.

Problems in the friendship

Taylor asked Brooke to come clean but she refused and Brooke would be alarmed to know Taylor is trying to set her up with Deacon again. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) complained about Thomas so much that Steffy told him about Hope. Now Hope is angry at Steffy and Brooke actually told Taylor to make her daughter take her statement back. Taylor is outraged that Brooke never gives Thomas the benefit of the doubt and the two friends are slowly but surely turning into frenemies.

This is a lot of tension in the Forrester Creations building where they all work and Taylor actually came close to kissing Ridge which had it happened would break the pact with Brooke. Liam is now doubting Hope while Brooke believes she can save their marriage and she is angry that Hope admitted having feelings for Thomas. Taylor is not going to put up with Brooke continually putting down her son and Brooke will not give Thomas the benefit of the doubt.

Are they headed to being frenemies and then enemies again?

Steffy is now Brooke's enemy and Taylor does not like her "Friend" hating on both of her children. It's not clear why Brooke thinks Steffy taking back what she said will do any good when the damage has already been done. Brooke, Ridge, Thomas, Liam, Hope, and Steffy will all soon be in Rome Italy together for a Hope For the Future Fashion shoot. so they obviously are going to hold things together until then. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor is also going but Taylor was not mentioned.

It's hard to believe she would allow Brooke and Ridge to go off to Italy together but perhaps she is needed to take care of things in LA. There is also the fact that Steffy and Liam seem to be getting close again and fans are worried that they might end up in bed together again. All it will take is one wrong move and Brooke and Taylor will be frenemies and possibly even enemies again. They are keeping secrets from one another and each is protective of her own child/children so this situation is a powder keg waiting to blow.

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful are wondering if it will be Thomas and Hope, Steffy and Liam, or Brooke and Ridge who will cross the line and set off a chain reaction. Would Steffy shut down the Hope for the Future line out of spite and will she and Liam hook up again? Can Thomas remain professional even if Hope makes a move on him and will Taylor and Brooke's friendship break up. Be sure to stay tuned and find out.
