Britt does not know the nature of her health problem on 'General Hospital'

Previews for Wednesday's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL have Britt Westbourne making the following declaration to Jason Morgan. "If this is what I think it is then no one can protect me." Viewers and spoilers have assumed that Dr. Westbourne's shaking hand was a result of her possibly having Huntington's disease, just like her late father Cesar Faison. The thing is Britt had a test done that indicated she did not have this illness. It's possible the results were a false negative but fans are hoping that something else is going on with the doctor on the run.

The fact that she tells Jason that she does not know for certain what is going on with her body leaves a door open for Britt to not have the same dreaded disease as her not so dearly departed dad. So far, her only symptom seems to be the shaking of one hand but it did not hinder her from operating on Jason. Some GH fans are concerned that the stress of running and hiding could exasperate whatever condition Britt is dealing with.

The consensus from many GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers on social media is that it would be a shame for Jason and Dr, Westbourne to fall in love only for her to die. There have been no rumors or spoilers indicating that Kelly Thiebaud is leaving the ABC soap and this is good news. JaSam fans, however, are less compassionate regarding Doctor Westbourne's health and only want what will bring Jason and Sam back together again. They would love for Sam to find the duo and get rid of Britt and take her man back.

The trouble with that logic is that Sam has already chosen her children over the danger that surrounds Jason and it would be irresponsible of her to risk all trying to find him. Some GH fans think she and Dante will work together in spite of the fact that last week neither could trust what the other said. These viewers are hoping Dante and Sam will become an item, but they should keep in mind that Lulu could wake up and change everything.

There are other GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers who are excited to see Britt have a real love life with Jason and who were tired of JaSam. It looks like the writers are going to pursue Jabritt as they run for their lives. Nothing has been reported as to where the couple will go once they leave the Cassadine property but they will need food and medical supplies. Cyrus has all of his men looking for them and Carly, Spinelli, and Sam are all being watched. Brick has gone into hiding so the duo will have to turn to someone.

Surveillance is also more than likely surrounding Obrecht so it will be interesting to to see where deliverance comes from for Jason and Britt. If doctor Westbourne truly does not have any idea what is causing her tremors she will at some point need medical help, She thinks she is going to die just like her father but fans are holding out that there is another explanation for why her hand is shaking.

Soap Hub spoilers indicate that Sam may try to find Jason ad Britt in spite of being followed. Perhaps she believes she can ditch the tail and save her former spouse. Sam may also be jealous about Britt caring for Jason and she may think she is the only woman who knows how to aid him. Sam went to Carly and did not get any answers so she might decide to go rogue. She might want to stop and consider that Dante might not be far behind.

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers who are happy for Britt and Jason need to keep one thing in mind. There is a bigger threat to this budding relationship than Sam, Cyrus, the GCPD, or Britt's medical condition. and her name is Carly Corinthos.
