The Review

Avatar: The Way of Water is really mind-blowing in terms of technology. It's really mind-boggling. Like, very rarely do you leave a movie and go, "Yeah, I haven't got the slightest frigging clue how they accomplished it. I Know the actors are in mocap suits, but beyond that, I got nothing.". This is the kind of film you don't see very often. And we've already had two of those this year. The amount of visual effects that is continually on display in this and Top Gun: Maverick is astounding.

The storylines, like the original Avatar, are relatively straightforward. We've seen stories like this before, and it appears to be the Avatar franchise's strategy thus far. You convey a basic narrative that anybody can relate to. Protect those you care about, and then paint their tale on a massive canvas of otherworldly technology, locations, and things you've never seen before. The actual trick of James Cameron's Avatar franchise is that both the first film and this film convey a very meaningful message about our environment.

Avatar: The Way Of Water In Comparison To Avatar (2009)

During the moments with human Jake Sully in the original Avatar, you feel a little bored and just want to get them back to Pandora and all those great things. This film is all about Blue People. There are only Blue People, from start to finish. So you're always in awe. You just cannot believe the graphics in this film, which are mind-blowing.

However, much like the first Avatar, the first half of this film doesn't quite keep you emotionally interested. You are learning about the surroundings in which you find yourself. You're getting a sense of the characters. You're building a number of different characters, and they're all at different stages of their lives, dealing with different problems and hardships.

And then, much like in the original, something devastating occurs around the middle, and you're like, "Those people who just did that thing, I want to see them pay.". That’s the Hook.

Message From The Movies "Avatar: The Way Of Water" and "Avatar(2009)"

The original Avatar was all about saving our forests, and this one is all about saving our oceans. And if any youngsters can go see this movie and experience that message and understand why it's important, while still being entertained by people getting shot with bow and arrows a lot, that's a wonderful thing.

That is exactly what James Cameron is attempting. He's done a lot of environmental advocacy in his actual life, so it's quite important to him.

So, if you value the earth we live on and want to preserve it, Avatar One and Two will have a deeper significance for you and will feel more significant. But isn't it the trick of any crowd-pleasing audience entertainment?

Big films are usually basic tales delivered in a big way. Top Gun: Maverick, after all, is simply a dressed-up surrogate father-son narrative, right? That's what it is at its heart, and that's great, but there are also jets, which are incredible and enjoyable.

Cameron's Vision for The Avatar Franchise

You will be amazed to find out that Cameron has already shot the majority of the sequences for the sequels, even after this film. He is simply working on this for as long as he desires.

It's insane to even consider that most films are constrained by a schedule. Cameron seems to get up every day and work on Avatar for the rest of his life. But that's what happens when you've created as many great movies as he has.

He is a true master of his craft. It's incredibly fascinating to see how thoroughly he considers everything in his film from a technical standpoint. It's both the greatest and worst aspect of both Avatar films.

James Cameron clearly understands how to make these sorts of stories interesting. It just takes a lot of time and money to execute it the way he wishes. For the entirety of Avatar 2, you can look at the screen with your jaw hanging, wondering how it was done. James Cameron has unlocked the trick to providing the finest 3D experience imaginable.

You'd want to watch this movie in 3D because it's stunning; it's evident that James Cameron refuses to accept anything that doesn't appear as realistic as it can. And even occasionally, when something seems as realistic as it can be, he says, "Well, can it be better?"

Conclusion

"Avatar: The Way of Water" is an exciting and heartfelt addition to the Avatar Film series. With breathtaking cinematography, thrilling action sequences, and well-developed characters, this film is guaranteed to impress both James Cameron enthusiasts and newbies.

While the first half may be a little stagnant for some, the whole experience is totally worth it. Fans of science fiction and adventure will enjoy this film.
