We all know that if we're going to be at home because of a lock down or because of self-isolation, then binge watching Netflix films and shows is the only way to survive being bored as hell! So, here's a list of 5 shows and films, ranging from documentaries to soppy love stories to stop you from being bored. Just don't eat all your self-isolation snacks when you watch okay?!

1. LOVE IS BLIND

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you had to meet someone without seeing them and then propose to them only ten days later? Have you thought about having a wedding where you family has NO IDEA who you're getting married to? Then this is the show for you!

If you haven't heard of this show already, then it is basically an experiment to see if love is really blind. A group of people come together, start talking to one another without even seeing what they look like. If they fall in love, then they propose.

After the proposal they meet, get shipped away on a honeymoon together and then spend three weeks living together in a completely new apartment. After that, BOOM, you're walking down the aisle. It's as easy as that!

However, it's actually not that easy... The couples face a lot of trials and tribulations and some people even say "no" at their wedding, which causes disaster!

This short, funny and intriguing new show is one you need to watch! 10/10 recommend.

2. 6 UNDERGROUND

This Netflix original action and adventure movie will keep you glued to your seats!

The tagline "No one wants to save the world. Meet no one." is a perfect summary to this film. A group of six "nobodies" abandon their pasts, fake their deaths and become the only group in the world to assassinate terrorists and criminals that the government fail to exterminate.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, you already know this film is going to make you laugh. It's an over-the-top loud and preposterous movie which you'll either love or hate. In my opinion, I thought it was great, even if it was a bit crazy. Ignore what any critic says, and form your own opinion! 8/10 recommend.

3. FALLING INN LOVE

American Gabriela Diaz loses her job and breaks up with her non-committing boyfriend. After being inspired by a lot of wine and a sense of impending sadness, she enters a "Win an Inn" competition that's based in New Zealand, because why the hell not?!

One lucky entry and a one long flight later, Diaz arrives to a crappy looking Inn with no idea how to fix it. Enter... the gorgeous looking restoration expert Jake Taylor!

Although a bit cliche, I think you can tell what goes down in this rom-com, and it's a great story. It's a cute little romance movie that is bound to make you smile. I stumbled across it by chance, but it is the perfect feel-good film that you could watch again and again! 9/10 recommend.

4. DIRTY MONEY

Interested in a documentary that exposes the underground of American businesses? Then Dirty Money is the one to watch. A warning though, this is not just a light watch. You will get sucked into the world of exposing corrupt scandals that deserve to be uncovered.

The documentary now has two seasons, both including six one-hour long episodes that expose illegal happenings from corporate corruption to creative accounting. Their episodes will leave you feeling informed, yet appalled.

One of the most recent episodes - titled "Slumlord Millionaire" - features Donald Trump's son-in-law and his real estate rapacity. Every episode is gripping and they will leave you shocked. 9/10 recommend.

5. LOCKE AND KEY

If you're into supernatural horrors then this is the show for you. After the death of Rendell Locke, his wife and children are forced to move to an old family home called Keyhouse.

The children soon discover mysterious keys within the house that unlock doors in mysterious and magical ways. Although this sounds like a happy and exciting thing, it is soon discovered a demonic evil is also hunting for the keys.

The episodes leave you wanting more, and the pilot has been compared to the "Stranger Things" debut. 7/10 recommend.
